The once-legendary Spider-Man and father to May Parker, Peter lost his left leg during his final battle with Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin. The battle left him shaken. With his greatest enemy gone, Peter retired from the super-hero business to become a full-time father and husband. He became a part of Midtown Police Department's science team with his friend, Phil Urich. Over the years he kept an eye on his daughter, seeing if his powers transferred to her.
Eventually, May's powers came out and Peter forbided her to become Spider-Girl. After May saved his life from the "new" Venom, Peter decided to train his daughter to be the hero he once was. He has recently been following the exploits of the "new" Spider-Man. He is getting closer to finding the truth behind him, and is getting help from Julia Carpenter, the second Spider-woman. Peter has recently got a boost in life with his wife, Mary Jane annoucing that she's going to have another baby. However, Peter has learned that there were complications to MJ's pregnauncy and made a hard decision with his wife.
Following his confrontation with the new Spider-Man, Peter decided not only to help find a cure for his blood disorder, but also reveal his whole past to his daugther. He has also come to the conclusion that his daughter needs him more in her costume life. Peter later got a bionic leg to replace his old one so he could return as Spider-Man full time. However, Peter learned after his encounter with Funny Face and Angel Face that it was time he hang up the webs for good. He has dedicated himself to being a father more to May and now his new born son, Ben.
