Raw is War was the king of the TV shows this year. Its great matches and electrifying superstars earned high ratings and elevated the WWF over other shows.
2. WWF Smackdown!
WWF returned to network TV with this show. With its great Raw is War quality (and those cool blue ropes), Smackdown was able to help boost UPNs ratings.
3. WCW Monday Nitro
WCW was able to do its best but it still struggled against the WWF. By the way, WCW Nitro only beat ECW on TNN by one vote.
