Final Fantasy VIII Rumors
Remember that nothing in
this section is rock solid, so if something sounds really good
and you really think it's true and it's not, then tough luck. Isn't
that why it's called a rumor?
Rumored Characters
Victor - Knight carrying a
lance. Lives in a time of machines but is completely
technologically retarded. He may be from a different era then the
one he is living in. Could be a party member.
Aubrey
- 32 year old girl, nothing else known,not known if playable.
Cameron
- A guy scientist in his mid thirties, not known if playable.
Cid
- Yes he is back, but it is really unlikely that you can play
as him since he's the principal of the garden school. But hey,
you never know.

Rumors
A character MAY die, sorry if some of you think I spoiled it
You may see Cloud and RedXII somewhere in the game
Bosses may be really unlinear, making the main boss a mystery
Chocobo could be playable (I doubt it though)
Ability to use combination attacks (like chrono trigger)
Might be a place like the gold saucer somewhere in the game
Junction system (very likely, see junction system)
May see Sephiroth somewhere
Two seperate story lines (Laguna, Squall)
Summons have to be charged
First disk done (very likely)
Corel prison like place in game (exremely likely, see Munpa in
rumors section)
New Summons (Alien, Birds, Maduin returning, Draco)
Main boss could have something to do with Sephiroth (I doubt it)
Game is more of a love story then an action story (don't fret,
you can fight as much as in other FF games)
Space travel, confirmed and most likely replacing time travel
City called Weapon City (not sure which planet)
