23 years ago there was a great empire, with streets of gold and rivers of riches. But now it tis but a crumbling pile of pillaged, looted, and boiled wreckage.
Wasn't very long ago when Pikachus and Poliwhirls got along. They put their agility and strength together to build great monuments in honor of their Kings. But back then there wasn't the great King that we have today. There was the unruly Emperor Poliwhirl some called Roswald. And the other King was a Pikachu, named Ned.
One day there was a parade in honor of Roswald. and Ned's parade was to come next. LAST. Ned could not believe that the Imperial consort chose that greedy lil' roach to lead the parade. He got mad. So mad that he pillaged the Poli-Chu palace and blamed it on the Poliwhirl civilians.
Large numbers of Poliwhirls were killed by The Pikachu force. Roswald was still in his parade when he was captured by Ned. They threw him in the Royal Dungeon. He was charged with betrayal - in a court with nothing but Pikachus. He was to be executed at dawn the next day.
Meanwhile, there was a band of Poliwhirl rebels living in the attic of a run down cafe in the Poliwhirl part of town.
(Now Poliwhirls were said to be inferior to the Pikachus, so they had to live in the Western run down part of the empire.) They were plotting to murder and destroy any and all Pikachus. And burn down their mighty empire, break into the palace, and rescue their leader. All before dawn.
Dawn was approaching. The rebel leader, Roswald the 2nd, guided his comrades through the Pikachu ridden city. They planted bombs and mercilessly slayed all the Pikachus they found. They finally reached the castle at 11:44 AM. They fought their way into the dungeon. By doing so they had lost a few men along the way. The remaining rebels heard a bitter outcry and some more ruckus very close to them
12:00. They had found their King's cell - Only to have King Poliwhirl be killed on the scene. They swore revenge. They had not yet used their most powerful bomb yet. They planted it right in the middle of the palace. They were all ready to leave when Ned appered in front of them. "Well Well Well. Lookyere. A bunch of pitiful rebels. GUARDS! SEIZE these traitors!", he said. Soldiers and guards surrounded them. But, suddenly, they heard a rumbling noise!
The ceiling made of diamonds had collapsed and a helicopter had lowered a ladder. The guards were closing in. The rebels said to their leader, there is only time for one to go up. You go. We'll stay and fight. King poliwhirl rejected, "You'll die!" They already gave him the detonator for all the bombs they planted in the city and the palace. "NOW GO!" they said.
He took it and grabbed the ladder. He was pulled up into the helicopter. They were heading to the cafe when he pushed the button on the detonator. The great city and its castle had gone up in a ball of flames that engulfed everything. He, again, swore revenge for his King and his rebels. It wasn't till a litlle later that everyone gained sanity again and then made Roswald the 2nd their new king. Now they had a new king, Roswald the 2nd. And more rebel bands are already being formed. And the village peasants are rebuilding the Poliwhirl part of the empire. And now they have the greatest King ever, who lead the rebels, who stood up to the Pikachus, LONG LIVE (the new!) KING POLIWHIRL! (a.k.a Roswald the 2nd..)
EPILOGUE
King Poliwhirl's reign is supreme and They are now more powerful than ever. Wars still go on and nobody is expecting a treaty. But the Poliwhirls now feel safer than ever now that they have a new King! But who is Pikachus new King? Remember? he was blown up in the explosion. Well, our spy report says that they have a mutant Pikachu. One that grows every time it is hit by lightning. They plan to use him in an upcoming battle. But King Poliwhirl has no fears anymore. He only has guilt and madness! He wants to slay every Pikachu alive! And he will!!!!!
