This is the wisest decison you could have made....and the most humiliating. The cannon man takes you to the center of the city and hooks you up in the stocks. Then he leaves you there to rot. People walk by you and kick you and women slap you across the face while others throw vegetables at you and laugh and point at you for 7 weeks straight.

The cannon man comes back to get you at the end of your punishment and then finds out that the stocks wasn't one of the official choices in the dungeon. He lets you free and spares you the wrath of choosing again.
