Prologue
"Ryan! Telephone for you!"
Tammy, Ryan’s mother, was a very small woman, but she had a loud mouth. Her voice rang all through the house as she covered the phone again, and yelled for her oldest daughter.
Ryan jumped out of the chair at the computer desk, and ran upstairs, grabbing the phone from her mother like her very life depended on it.
Tammy looked at her daughter, and turned around to make herself tea, knowing Ryan wouldn’t need to ask her who it was. Tammy frowned, looking over her shoulder at Ryan. Her daughter really didn’t have to many friends. Though she was a very attractive girl, in Tammy’s opinion. She sighed and turned back to fix the tea.
Ryan was 17, just turned. She considered herself a professional actress. She’d been in quite a few paid performances. But not yet the performance she really wanted to be in… ‘Cats’.
Ever since she was 11, she’d loved cats. Then, on her 12th birthday, her dad took her to see it. She was nearly ready to faint when he said he’d gotten tickets from John Partridge, then, he told her they had front row seats, and she had to sit down. A few days later, she found herself hardly able to sit still as the lights dimmed, and the cats’ eyes lit up the stage.
The following weeks she spent at the video store, renting "Cats" again and again. Then, on Christmas, when she had just found out that "Cats" had been rented, and she wouldn’t be able to watch it, her first present was… "Cats"! Her mother had bought it for her. She thanked them so much, and nearly forgot about her other presents. About two months after Christmas, she decided she’d add a page to the forever growing Cats pages out there on the net. Hence forth, Hyperistithianniesbuea was born.
Ryan spent hours, and hours on her page, and more hours writing a story, and then more hours drawing. Soon she had, what she considered, a good page. She still worked on her page, even now, at the age of 17.
Do you want to know the biggest attraction on her page?
Her Experience at her Audition for ‘Cats’. That’s why she desperately needed the phone.
"Hello? Yes, this is Ryan…."
Ryan was nearly bouncing up and down, shifting her weight from one foot to the other, grasping the phone with both hands. Her light red hair bounced on her shoulders. She looked up at her mother, who was fixing tea, smiling at her daughter.
"You y-y-y-you do?" Ryan nearly dropped the phone..
"Right, rehearsals start Monday.." Her mother smiled, and walked over to her daughter as Ryan sat down.
"Yeah, see you then… bye… OH! And thank you so much!" She hung up the phone, and looked over at her mother, her jaw dropped.
"They.. want….. me…. to….. play…. B-b-b-b-Bombalurina!" She shouted, and jumped up, hugging her mother as if she had something to do with the casting.
"I’m very proud of you sweetheart. Now, when did they say the rehearsals start?" Her mother said, walking towards the calendar.
"Tomorrow, at 5:00, at the theater."
She ran downstairs.
I have so much to do! I have to tell everyone!!
She though as she ran towards the computer. Opening the Internet four times, she figured she could tell everyone in about thirty minutes.
First, e-mails…
She e-mailed all her rpg friends, and her other friends with E-mail.
Forums…
She went to all the forums she joined, and told everyone!
Homepage!
Then, she went to angelfire.com and updated her page. She added new pages two new pages. One called "Rehearsals", were she would type in every night/day after rehearsal. The other was called "The Shows" where she would type in where she did a show, and all about it.
She began to sing one of her favorite songs, Macavity.

Chapter One:
The Cast

Monday night was very hectic, luckily, it was summer, so there was no school. Ryan smiled as her mother gave her a checklist of the things the director wanted her to bring.
"Waterbottle?"
"Check!"
"Pencil?"
"Check!"
"Noteboke for scripts and other notes?"
"Righty’o!"
"Good attitude?"
"CHECKERS!" Ryan laughed.
"All right kid, go help Stephen put on his shoes, and lets get going!" Tammy smiled, and went upstairs to get Chole.
"Stteeeeppppheeen!" Ryan called, pretending to be a ghost.
"Stephen!" Her little brother screamed, and hid under a pillow on the couch.
"GOTCHA!" Ryan yelled as she pulled the pillow off her little brother.
"RYAN!" He yelled, at only three years old, he could pronuncate pretty well. He was about the normal height for a three year old, dark skinned, and brown eyed. He and his twin, Chole, really didn’t look like twins. He had brown hair, while she had blonde.
"Come on kid, you gotta get your shoes on, so I can go to rehearsal." Ryan said, tossing Stephen his shoes.
"Why you go to… hersal?" Stephen said as Ryan velcroed his shoes together.
"Because I’m Bombalurina." She grinned, Stephen looked at her, confused. She laughed, and sung Bombalurina’s line in RumTumTugger.
"Bombyalruna!" Ryan couldn’t help but laugh as Stephen tried his best to pronounce the names.
"Right, Bombyalruna." She smiled, and picked up Stephen as her mother and Chole walked down the stairs. Chole grinned at Ryan.
On the way to the car, Stephen and Chole sung all the songs they knew, just to get on Ryan’s nerves, since she was trying to remember all the words to ‘Macavity.’

"Ok Ryan, I’m going to go to the mall, because there is no way I can keep these two quiet for five hours while you rehears ok?"
"All right mom."
"Bye Bombyalruna!" Stephen yelled.
"Ahhahahuh! Bye Bomby….. alruna!" Chole countered.
"If you two don’t watch it, I’ll…. Scratch you’re eyes out, roar!" Ryan growled, the twins pulled back and laughed.
"See you at ten mom."
"Bye sweety. We’re picking you up right?"
"Yeah, you’ll have to until my car’s out of the shop."
"Ok, bye."
"Bye."
Ryan waved as her mom drove away, and turned to look at the theater. Wow, and what a theater it was.
She couldn’t see the front of the theater from where she was standing, but the theater was a dark blue coloring. Some of the paint was peeling, and a large board on top of the theater read:

Theater Weslter Presents:
Grease
July 10, 11, 15 and 16.
She grinned, and walked into the theater.
There must have been at least a thousand seats, if not more, and that didn’t include the balcony. She looked behind her, the lobby, she guessed, and infront of her, the stage and a few cast members already there.
The stage was huge. The biggest stage she’d seen since she saw ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ on Broadway. It was set up for Grease, she assumed. A rainbow like slice of cardboard, that was supposed to be the cilling of the school, hung over the stage with a gloomy, dark groan. Taking a huge breath, she walked forward.
"No, it was like, ‘ you like him? Ugh.’"
"She likes who!?"
Ryan overheard a conversation between to cast members. She took a seat in the front row, and then she saw, him.
He was about 5’10, four inches taller then she was. He had short, black hair, the most beautiful, iced over blue eyes, and a smile that would win an emmy… and she didn’t even know his name yet!
She looked at her watch, 4:55… Five minutes until they got started. As if she had just given a cue, the rest of the cast walked in.
In about four minutes, when the cast was talking in thundering voices, the director, along with four other people walked up to the stage.
"Excuse me, could I have your attention please?" The director said, everyone stopped talking, and looked at her. "Thank you. I am your Director, Fatrisha. This is your choreographer, Robyn," a rather tall, dark skinned lady waved. "your voice trainer, Joseph," a small, chubby man waved. "costumer/propts person, Joesy," the lady next to Joseph waved. "And last but not least, Gregory, the stage manager." The other man waved. Ryan couldn’t help but shudder. Greg was a scary looking man. Very tall and lanky with dark hair, and underlined eyes with a deep shadow cast over them. He looked out at the cast, silent.
"First, everyone needs a script, even if you know all the words to every song, you still need a script. We already have scripts for every character, personalized for that character. When I say your character name, come on up, and tell us a bit about yourself. I’ll give you the stuff, and you go sit down. Simple, right Josh?" Fatrisha looked at a tall guy sitting in the audience, he grinned, and waved. Josh, that was the guy she’d seen walking around earlyier.
"Old Duetoronomy.." Fatrisha looked into the audience. Ryan looked behind her. A man in the back of the theater, walked into the aisle and towards the stage. He wasn’t really as chubby as she’d imaged the Duetoronomy, but he was a cheerful man.
He walked onto the stage.
"Hello, I am Eric Gushten, this is my first major role, some of my other roles include, The Gym teacher in ‘Grease’, and on of the chorus chimney sweeps in ‘Fiddler On The Roof’."
Eric Gushten!
Now Ryan recognized the name. Eric was the nice man whom she had met walking out of Broadway who had told her to keep her hopes high about acting.
Fatrisha smiled, and said something to Eric, and handed him the papers laughing good naturally. Eric proceeded back to the audience.
