Behind The Scenes - 2
"RumTumTugger."
All heads turned as a very good looking guy walked up to the stage. The both girls he was sitting with clapped.
He smiled, and walked onto the stage. He was really tall, Ryan guessed about 63, he had short, blonde hair, and brown eyes.
"Hey, Im Dan Treflow. Sorry ladies, I aint single." He said, a few people laughed. "Right now, Im also in Grease, as myself." Grin. "Danny."
He walked off stage, and took the papers, walking towards the two girls. The taller one smiled at him, and the other one, who looked so much like him she had to be his sister, shook her head.
After five more people went up, Ryan went up, she told a little about herself, how she always wanted to be in CATS, and then received the same papers the others got.
She looked through them as the girl who played Grizzabella went up. She flipped through, until she saw the cast list. She smiled.

"All right, lets not waste any time, Joseph is going to take us all on a tour of the theater. Everybody up." Fatrisha said.
Joseph called everyone onto the stage, and led them into the backstage area through a door on the side of the stage.
"This is the girls part of the stage." He announced, a few of the guys made some unneeded comments and noises.
"The dressing rooms. There will be a station for every one of you where you can have your belongings, and costume and stuff." He held open the door, all the girls peeked in one at a time.
"This is the make-up room, now, this room connects the boys side, to the girls side, all of you will use this room. Ill just have to trust you all not to go into the other side I can trust you right?" Joseph asked. A few people, Ryan included, nodded or said yes.
After touring the Boys rooms, the entrance stands, the lobby and the break room, the cast went back to the stage to start rehearsing.
"Ok, its just now 6:23, we have a lot of time to start practicing."
A few of the cast members groaned. Robyn stood up and walked to the stage.
"Cme on everybody, up ya go." She said, everyone got up, and stood on stage. "Lets start with a few warm-ups."
"Yippie " Tony said.
"Look left, center, right, center, left, center, right, center." Robyn started off. "Look up, center, down, center, up, center, down, center."
"Oohh, that felt good." Someone commented, Ryan couldnt tell whom.
"Tilt your head right, center, left, center, right, center, left, center."
After a few minutes of this warm-up, everybody stopped.
"Ok, lets do this one.." Robyn leaned to the right, only by the hips, putting her right arm over her head, and her left arm on her stomach. "Lean right, two three four five six seven eight." She leaned right now, her entire body, only her feet were facing forwards, and both arms were facing right. "Again, two three four five six seven eight." She fell into the center, from her hips up hanging upsidedown, her palms flat on the floor. "Hang center, two three four five six seven eight." She leaned to the left, the same way she leaned to the right the second time. "Lean left, two three four five six seven eight." She leaned left like the first time she leaned right. "Again, two three four five six seven eight."
After a few more warm-ups like those, Robyn said we could all take a break while she talked to Fatrisha. It was around 8.
"So you wanted to be in CATS since you were twelve?"
Ryan turned around as someone walked towards her She nearly dropped, it was Josh, the cute guy shed seen before. Uh, Munkustrap! Thats it, he plays Munkustrap.
"Yeah.. I just always had a fascination with it.."
"Really? Me too. Did you ever join any RPGs?"
"Yeah! I still participate in all of them!"
"Wow, hey, who do you play?"
"Well, I mostly play Jennanydots, Jellylorum and Griddlebone. But I also play Pouncival and Hyperistithanniesbuea."
"Isbuea!" Josh said the last few letters of the name along with Ryan.
"Im Eps!" He announced.
"No. Way." Ryan said, she just couldnt believe it.
"Ok everyone! Were going to start of with one of the biggest numbers in the show."
"RUMTUMTUGGER!" Danny yelled, a few people laughed.
"No, The Jellicle Ball."
A few people grinned, while others groaned.
"Ok, since I dont know a lot of your names yet, Ill just call you by your character names. Demeter?" Robyn said.
"Yeah?" Demeter said, standing up.
"Your line right before this song, is Macavity! right?" Demeter nodded.
"Ok, when you say that line, I want you to be hiding by the old ford. RumTum,"
"yeah,"
"You and Bombalurina are up by the old clock."
"Ok." Demeter walked to her spot, and RumTum and Ryan smiled and followed her.
"Silabub, Electra, Ecetera, Pouncival, Tumblebrutus, Victoria and Alonzo, you seven are over by the oven/tunnel."
"Righty!" Silabub said as the seven walked over.
"Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer,"
"Yes?" Elle said.
"Uhuh," Mungojerrie countered.
"You two are on the ford, Mungojerrie stretched out towards that entrance, Rumpleteazer stretched out in the opposite direction with your left arm over Mungojerries shoulder."
Elle and Mungojerrie nodded and headed towards the ford.
"Perfect." Robyn nodded.
"Munkustrap, Old Duetoronomy and the twins," Robyn paused as the four stood up, "Munkustrap and Duetoronomy I want you two on the tire. Coriprocat and Tantomile sitting on the boxes under the tire. Everyone else, youll be on the ground somewhere." Robyn smiled.
"Okay, Demeter says Macavity! and this is what I want to happen: Munkustrap, you jump off the tire, and run center stage, hold your arms out, and motion for everyone to leave. Bomby," Robyn looked up at Ryan, "I want you to step over RumTum, and slide down off the tire, with Demeter. Then reach out to Munkustrap, and the two of you run off, that way." Robyn pointed.
Josh nodded, Ryan couldnt help but smile at him.
"Everyone, go to the nearest exit to you, scared. All but, Duetoronmy, Munkustrap and Alonzo. Duetoronomy, you just sit there." Robyn smiled. "Alonzo, come center stage, look at Munkustrap. Munkustrap, look to the exit to your left, and then back down at Alonzo. Alonzo, run off stage." Robyn watched and nodded.
"Ok, can we have music and take it from the top?"
We worked on the scene for a few more hours, until we had it all finished.
"Alright!" Robyn turned to the few parents in the audience. "I know were running a little late, but were just doing it one more time. Mistro, music!"
"All right, thank you everyone!" Robyn said as the cast finished the number. "Now, no one is going to forget that right?"
A few cast members mumbled. Ryan walked off stage, and turned her head as she heard someone coming down after her, she grinned at Josh.
"So, your really Hyper?"
"Uhuh, and your really Eps?"
"Yep. I, wow, unbeliveable huh?"
"Yeah." Ryan said as she picked up her stuff.
"I never though in a million years Id ever be in CATS, or ever meet someone from any of the RPGs."
"This world is a twisted place." Ryan grinned.
The two walked towards the door.
"Yeah, and Iv-"
"Bombylaruna!" Chole and Stephens voices rang out at the same time as the ran towards Ryan.
"Bombylaruna?" Josh laughed.
"Yeah, Stephen started it. I bet Chole could say it right if Stephen hadnt gone and taught her to say Bombylaruna. Right Chole?"
Chole nodded. Stephen pointed at Josh.
"Mangowerrie?" He asked. Josh shook his head.
"Munkustrap." Ryan corrected.
"Ryan! Hurry up, we have to get home so the twins get to bed early!"
"Alright. Come on you two, bye Eps." Ryan grinned as she led the two out the door.
Josh smiled, and walked back down to get his stuff. He headed out towards his car, he was one of the last people to leave.
"Huh ." He looked towards the backdoor of the theater as a dark figure stepped out, looked around, and ran behind the theater.
"Hm." Josh shook his head, opened the car door, tossed his stuff inside, started the engine, and drove home.
Oooh! What next? LOL! Who's the 'dark figure'?
