Macavity's Tale 2

"Tada!" Rumpleteazer said, grining. They were infront of a house. A house on Victoria Groove.
"Victoria groove? Oh no.." RumTumTugger groaned. Mistoffelees joined his groan.
"You mean to tell us Mungojerrie is going to help us?" Mistoff whined.
"Yes, 'errie! If anyone knows anything about Macavity, its Mungo."
"your just saying that because you'v-" Alonzo was cut off by Mistoffelees.
"Well, lets see what he has to say." Munkustrap muttered. Not sounding all to happy about this either.
As they approached the house, Rumple skidded to a halt.
"Ssssshh!"
All of them listened to the conversation that was clearly blaring through the window.
"I told you Macavity, Teazer and I 'ave no intentions of joinin' ya eva again. We are happy wit the Jellicles."
Rumpleteazer nearly fell off the windowsill as a fight urrupted.
Munkustrap, followed by RumTumTugger, Mistoffelees, Alonzo and Rumpleteazer dashed into the room. Munkustrap told them to stay put as he ran after Macavity.

After hours of being locked in a new room, a smaller room, Silabub had begun to lose all hope of anyone ever finding her. It had been four days since she had seen the Jellicle moon, or anyone from the Jellicle tribe, and after Sareghth was.. well, after she disapeared, Silabub had been alone.
Macavity had been beating up on her all day yesterday because of her failures, he had left early this morning to talk to somebody, Silabub was alone. Not even the gaurd would talk to her.
As Silabub was about to go to sleep, Macavity busted into the room, as mad as he'd ever been before. But this time, he was hurt.
"oh... Your hurt." Silabub said, clamping her mouth shut after she'd opened it.
Macavity snapped his head in her direction. "What else is new?!"
He yelled.
Silabub, unable to resist her motherly instincs that grew stronger as she grew older, slowly walked towards Macavity, who seemed to be in deep though, and looked over one of the wounds on his side. He glared at her, and pulled away. She only became more persistant, and tried again. He pulled away again. Oddly, Silabub managed to back him up agianst the wall. She looked up at him, and then back to his wound, surprised that he had not tried to hurt her yet, and showed no signs of going to.
After looking over all of his wounds, the oddly acting Macavity was sitting across from Silabub. The odd silence made them both uncomfrontable. Macavity stood up, and began pacing the small room with Silabub's eyes firmly watching him.
He stopped pacing and looked at her. Silabub was even more surprised to see that his eyes were no longer full of hate as they had always been.
"Nobody's done that for me since... well since before I can remember." He muttered, and laid down.
Silabub wondered over to sit by him.
"Why?"
"I don't know.."
"Yes you do... please tell me... Please? Why are you so evil?"
Macavity looked up at her pleeding eyes, and growled.
Silabub pulled back, but worked up courage, she opened her mouth.
"Daylight, see the dew on a sunflower, and a rose that is fading, roses wither away. Like the sunflower I yearn to tearn my face to the dawn. I am waiting for, the day. Sunlight through the trees in summer, endless masquerading. Like a flower as the dawn is breaking the memory is fading."
He got up, and stormed out of the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why did I do that!? Why did I let my guard down! That rotten kitten! Macavity thoght as he paced in his room.
"I AM NOT WEAK!" He shouted, then, he laid down putting a paw over his face.
"Crying?" He muttered, and sat up, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Am I crying!?"
He shook his head, but indeed, he was crying, he was sad, and he felt emotion. He looked in the direction of Silabub's room, and wondered how the young Jellicle had managed to get so much emotion out of him.
When Munkustrap returned to Mungojerrie's house, he was already talking to the others about Macavity. They turned to look at him as he walked in. He wasn't to beaten up, although Mungojerrie grinned, knowing he'd be fussed over by Demeter as soon as he set foot in the junkyard.
"Welcome back oh fearless Pollicle." RumTumTugger said, looking at Munkustrap with little amusment in his eyes. He yawned, he was laying on the window sill. Rumpleteazer, Alonzo, Mistoffelees and Mungojerrie had made a circle in the middle of the room.
Ingoring RumTum's comment, Munkustrap sat down to the left of Alonzo, next to Mungojerrie.
"Mungojerrie said he knows where to find Macavity, and he might just be able to get us in." Alonzo said.
"Good, lets get back to the junkyard and inform Duetoronomy."
Munkustrap said as they headed for the window RumTum was opening.
"Good, going home."
RumTum said, eger to see Bombalurina for whatever reason he deemed worthy.
Later that night, Silabub was awakened by Macavity. His eyes were red, he'd been crying.
CRYING! Silabub sat up instantly.
"You, you've been crying!"
"Yes... quite a bit.." Macavity confessed. For the first time since Silabub had met Macavity, she forgot completely about the stories told about him. All she saw now was a poor little tom kitten who'd been crying.
Macavity wondered over to her and sat down.
"You asked before why I was like this. I though about it for a long time.... And I decided I'd tell you."
Chapter 2
"Please! Please don't hit me!" A young kitten cried as his father, a tall, lanky, ginger figure stood over him, on hand roughly on his shoulder, the other hand in the air with claws bared and ready to swipe down and land another powerfull blow to Mac's face.
Cravit thought for a moment, and then his hand, frozen snaped and swiped a blow across his son's face that his son would never forget.
As his son cowered in fear, he walked away to take to other matters. Like dealing with this cat whom had been around him to ofeten. Duet.. Duetor... something like that.
Mac curled into a ball of fur, fussing over his new scar. His mother, Avity limped over.
"Oh Mac... Did he hit you agian?" She called her son over and cradled him. Mac nodded through tears. "Don't worry sweetheart. My friend, Lavidikz is organizing his Jellicles to help."
Mac still cried, unable to say anything.
"What are you doing with him!? I though I told you to stay in your room!" Mac's father had returned. His mother stepped bodly infront of him.
"You can't keep on doing this..." She begged, still, sounding as strong as she was. Mac cowered behind her.
His father's cold, heartless gaze met with Mac's, Mac shuddered. His father turned and before anyone could do anything, Cravit and Avity were fighting. Mac watched in horror unable to do anything. His father landed a good blow to his mother's face, and bit into her neck. He turned, facing Mac as Avity curled up in pain. He ran over, picked Mac up, and through him against a near by brick wall before storming off.
A few minutes pasted before Mac struggled to his feet and limped towards his mother. He nuzzled her.
"Mmmom?"
She was cold.
"Mom?"
Very cold.
"Mommy please, answer me... Mommy.." Mac fell into a heap of tears as his mother still did not answer.
The next morning, as a storm poured down rain and lightning, Mac looked up, as his father, a looming shadowy figure stood over him. His father was not looking at him though, he was looking at Avity. He picked up her limp body, and heaved her high over the brick wall, Mac could only gasp as his father strained to hear the smash of her limp body come in contact with soild ground.
He then, looked at his son with his heartless eyes.
"Pity." Was all he said.
Mac could only stare at his father as he walked away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sir? Macavity, Sir?" One of Macavity's ugly henchrats interupted Macavity's story.
Macavity glared.
"What is it?"
"Theres a.. a Ratchern here to see you?" The henchrat said.
Macavity looked at Silabub, who was disapointed to see the evil in his eyes yet again. "I'll be there in a minute." The Henchrat left. Macavity turned to Silabub, glared, and got up and left.
Silabub watched him, upset. She couldn't help but already feel sorry for him, and she had so much more to hear...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So your saying you know where he is, and you already have a plan on how to get us in there?" Duetoronomy asked Mungojerrie once they had all esembled back to the junkyard.
"Yes 'errie."
Rumpleteazer grinned. Munkustrap shook his head.
"We need all the toms we can get, this is going to be hard." Mungojerrie said, and told them his plan.
At the end of the day, Mungojerrie had recruted all the toms, besides, Gus, Asparagus, Tumblebrutus and Pouncival, to accompany him to Macavity's lair.
Macavity returned to Silabub's room some time after midnight. Silabub was awake, and pacing around the room. She turned towards Macavity as he entered.
He smiled, which shocked Silabub.
"I brought dinner." He slid her a bowl of food. Surprisingly enough, it looked good. As Silabub sat down to eat, Macavity laid down.
"Now where were we....
The next few days went by so slow: In the morning Mac was woken up early and had to find breakfast for his father. After breakfast, he had to make sure the gaurds were all awake, and most of the time he was smacked across the room in waking them up. Then he had to feed all the cats his father held captive. By that time it was lunchtime, and he had to find his father lunch, give some of the guards breaks and put others on duty -which ended in more hitting- and feed the captives. He then had an hour or two to calm down before he had to do it all over again, only for dinner.
A week after his mother had died, Mac had been up all night. He'd been crying, and talking to his mother. He'd made a grave for his mother, though her body was never found.
"What am I going to do mother? I can't handle much more of this treament. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I'm so tired.."
He waited, but nothing happened.
The next day his father went evil. Simply evil, he tortured and beat and bruised Mac every time he saw him.
That night, he curled up next to his mothers grave. Surely his left leg was broken. He looked at his mothers grave, then up in the direction of the heaviside lair, he fell asleep with tears in his eyes.
"MAC!" Mac woke with a start as his father called him. Mac blinked a few times, it was still nighttime. He walked over to his father, who stood infront of a fire. "Yes father?"
"Come here.." Mac slowly walked over to his father, being only a young kitten, he knew he was going to be hit, and he also knew he could do nothing about it...
"I saw that grave you made for your mother.."
His father started off. Mac was very frightened, for his father was staring off into space. The way he did before he did something horrible.
"Yes father..."
"I wasn't pleased.."
"I'm sorry father I jus-"
"SORRY!" His father's voice boomed around him. He growled.
"I wasn't going to do this before, but since your SORRY I guess I'll have to!" He picked up Mac, and held him over the fire as the young kitten yelled, pleeded and begged for his father to stop.
The following morning, burned, sore and in pain, Mac could only cringe as his father called his name again and again. Mac couldn't get up, he just simply couldn't it hurt to much. He winced as his father walked to him, and kicked him.
"GET UP! I've called you to many times!"
"I can't father, I can't stand.."
His father picked him up viloently, and slammed him against the brick wall, his face close to his.
"You'll stand, and for backtalking to me, you'll do more then your normal amount of chores... More then that. Mac."
The next week was more horrible then it had ever been. Mac had two broken legs, a broken tail, quite a few broken ribs, and his eye had been siverly injuried. He could not walk. His father had been calling him for the past hour, Mac was hidden in a pipe. His father finaly found him, and hit him numorous times across the face.
As his father went to hit him again, Mac grabbed his paw.
His father's shocked face sent Mac to do something the poor, crying kitten on his mother's grave never would have done.
Dispite the pain, he grabbed his father's other arm, and twisted them, glaring into his father's eyes as his eyes filled with hate.
"Sorry father, couldn't hear you." He broke both his father's arms, and began to beat him, right before he landed a killing blow to his father's head, he yelled.
"My name is no longer Mac, from this day forward, I will be known as Macavity!" With that, he hit his father another time, and his father lay as limp as his mother.
"Sorry dady." He picked up his father, and hurled him over the head as his father did his mother.
With a wicked glare in his eye, his adrenaline rushing high, he found much glee and joy in killing his father.. He rushed towards the captives...
Silabub, who had finished her dinner, looked at Macavity with so much pity, she ran imediately to him, and nuzzled him.
Macavity, still shocked by his emotions, and how much he had revealed to this Jellicle in such a short time, he could do nothing but nuzzle her back.
He stood up.
"I, I wanted to thank you for helping me.." He walked outside, and a few miniutes later, he and Sareghth entered.
"Sareghth!" Silabub screamed and ran towards her friend. Macavity smiled.
