Brownie Guides are girls aged 7 to 10 years old, they are members of a Brownie Guide pack which usually meets once a week during the school year. The Brownies were given their name by our founder Lord Baden-Powell and they are named after the mystical Brownie who would secretly help people. The Brownie pack is usually split into sixes which are groups of up to six girls led by one of the older girls in the group. She is called a Sixer, she has an assistant called a Seconder. Eavh six is named after a different type of Brownie and the members wear their six emblem on their sash. Our sixes are the Imps, Elves, Sprites and Pixies. Our leaders are usually named after owls, if you read our Brownie Story you will find out why.

Once a Brownie has made her promise she receives her Promise badge and can wear the Brownie uniform (We'll add a link soon to show you what it looks like!). Brownies like to play games, make crafts and have fun with their friends. We work towards badges, take part in service projects, learn about the world around us, go on trips and most importantly of all have lots of fun!!!!
