- Futuristic Poetry, Grade 3 -
During Week 4 of the Project, the students completed charts on what they had learned during the unit. From those ideas, they created some futuristic poetry to share with their global classroom. Here are some examples from Grade 3.

u-university will shut down. t-the future is cool. u- universe travels. r- robotic animals. e- everything will taste like chocolate.
M-mountains are as high as the clouds. I - Iguanas are the king of the lizards L-Leopards are cool. L-Light bulbs can start a fire. E-Electricity can injure you very badly. N-Nightingales come out at night I - I can't wait to see it U-Unicorns come to earth. M-Mice are bad.

F- flying cars U-umbrellas that fly T-trees will grow money on them U-unicycles have motors on them R-rocking chairs rock by themselves E-elephants have big enough ears that they can fly.
M-magnetic mouse. I-ice will never melt L-llamas grow beards L-lions float in outer space E-everybody respects each other N-no more wars N- no more mosquitoes I-Ian is a millionnaire U-unicorns can fly M-monkeys can communicate with humans. M-moon will not hit the earth. I-IBM computers will not shut down. L- llamas will start wearing clothes. L-lobsters will start wearing bathing suits. E-everything will taste like chocolate. N-no companies will shut down. N-no more mosquitoes. I-insects will dance.
