Memorial Mauling Card Details Released:
A great deal of the card for "Memorial Mauling 2000" has been posted on the Upcoming Events page. Of course, as with any show, card is subject to change. For what we have so far, things look like they will be far stellar as compared to last year's outing. Many of the "kinks" of the original Mauling have been removed. Look for ticket information to be posted here soon. The venue for Memorial Mauling 2000 is still slightly in the air. We are waiting to hear from Climax-Scotts High School. If we do not hear from them this week or hear a no, we will be at the Climax-Scotts American Legion.
Former SWF Wrestler Retires:
Lumberjack Flash, the man who nearly won the SWF Championship at our last show, has officially retired from the ring. It's not secret he wasn't the best in the ring, but many fans will miss his antics. After severe damage to his right knee, the Lumberjack has decided to call his career quits to focus on other ventures.
Finally, Titles to Be Decided
As you will see from the Memorial Mauling 2000 card, we will finally decide our remaining two titles. "X-Rated" Jason Kronan is the Heavyweight Champion. The Cruiserweight and Tag Team titles will be decided.
Frequency of Shows to Increase???
Depending on the success of this year's Mauling, the SWF may be looking into running events on a more regular basis. Our budget is admittedly small. However, if we run once a year at best, it is our goal to give you, the fans, more than your money's worth when we come to town! We are pulling the money around for a much bigger and better show, so the fans may really win on this one!
