Okay about 21 years ago, Edward and Lila's two children, Alan, and Tracy both got prgenant with their first sons.
Late 1978/Early 1979 through 1980
Tracy, married to Lord Asthon had, her son first...December, 1978. She named her son, Edward Lawerence Quartermaine II Asthon after her father and had intended for he to be the heir.
A month later, Monica had her son, a son, that she thouhgt was the child of her Lover, Rick Webber. Of course Tracy liked that idea...anyway, Monica named her son after the child's real father, so child's name was/is Alan James Quartermaine Jr.

Cousin Ned didn't stay in Port Charles long, he went to a boarding school at a young age, and in 1988, Cousin Ned, returned to Port Charles, as a man in his early twenties...and guess what? He susposedly had relations with Aunt Monica! Uh...how messed up is this. A nine year old who is a twenty year old...who slept with Aunt Monica...??!?! LOL!!! That's the Soap Opera's Rapid Aging crap for you!!!

'88 - Monica and Ward (aka Ned...) #
But, this site, is about AJ, so let me continue...Well, Alan Jr. was still happy as a nine year old. He when to the local grammer school with friends Robin and little bro Jason, and lived a cool enough life for a rich kid. He parrents were still married, eventhough Mama Monica had a fling or two, or when Aunt Tracy did something stupid, etc.
1989-1990
Then a year later, Alan Jr, was sent to a boarding school, for the aging process to begin. Ned fell for and married AJ's half sister Dawn! And as a gift gave her Spoon Island...Alan and Monica divorced, and Alan Jr received a stepmother...Lucy!
1991
After Edward susposedly died, Alan and Ned fighted over the spot of CEO at ELQ! And the dumb fued began...and then...Alan Jr, now called AJ, returned from the boarding school, at about 18. Jason returned soon later at about the age of 16 (should of been 10). AJ decided to join the feud. Lila decided to give Ned and AJ their inheirance right a way. AJ...was suddenly mean, he said something snapy to Jason about Jason being illegimate. What brothers never fight?!?! But Jason, the kind Jason, forgave him. The two were best friends.
1992
Since Dawn was killed, Ned decided to marry Jenny Eckert next. Monica gave comfort to David Langton, Dawn's father, with a kiss. Nikki, his other daughter, became jealous, thouhgt, David loved Monica more than her. Nikki's crap gave David a fatal heart attack. Nikki blamed David's death on Monica. Decided to take revenge...on AJ. Eventhough she, saved AJ from death in a car accident, she really did not love AJ, but I guess she liked him a bit, probably because she needed someone to marry herself into the rich family. She manipulated AJ into propossing to her. Alan did not want his son to marry the blackmailing golddigger, so instead he paid her off and she left town. Alan did not consider what this would do to AJ, however, feeling rejected, AJ drank himself nearly to death. Even tried to commit suicide once, locking himself in lock car...letting the carbon monoxide consume him. I don't remember this too well...but I think Jason saved him. (# #) AJ worked as a boxer with Jagger.
One day, Jason and Karen Wexler were on a date in a row boat, in the lake in the Quartermaine grounds. Jealous Jagger Cates, stoway, to the dismay of Jason. Well, to make a long story short, there was a storm, and well...the trio of teens got stranded on a desert island...
And well they weren't alone...serial killer Cal Atkins was there, and they made trouble for the awesome trio, yes sir. After being mising for a week, and after found the debris of Jason's boat, the Q's, and Rhona Welxer just about gave up hope. The closest thing Jagger had to a relative at the time was Ruby, and she was worried as well. Well...anyway, everyone gave up, Jason's memorial service was planned and everything. But AJ just wouldn't give up on Jason. Jason was the only person who was nice to him, the only person who accepted him for who he was, his best friend. So AJ continued to look for Jason, and guess what AJ found them, all three of him. Jason thanked AJ. Alan was proud of AJ, but the other Q's? They said nothing...! (rolling eyes...)
1993
AJ, decided to look for the missing Nikki, he found her all right, already married to some other poor rich soul. Well...AJ got a blessing that day, but didn't seen it that way. Eventhough, Nikki tried to break the news to AJ gently, AJ drowned his wounds in vodka. Later that year, after breaking with Ned, Julia Barrett, slept with AJ. Eventhough Julia was never really cruel to AJ, their relationship was not one of love...Once again...Poor AJ. Julia moved to London.
Alan, killed Ray Conway, because he discovered him beating Karen's mother, Rhonda. Indently, Alan left a cufflink behind. AJ found the cufflink and confronted Alan. AJ intially tried to frame Jagger, but in the end both men were free. The case is still classified as unsolved, the first of many.
1994-1995**
Okay, this was the year, when Katherine Belle (aka Kathy Belle, aka Kat, aka B/witch, aka etc) started to think she was some business woman. Besides stealling Deception from Lucy, she got her hands on some ELQ stock and also after finding out about Ray, decided to blackmail herself into the family by marrying Ned. Well, Ned one upped her when he married Lois first. Anyway, one of the irrtating things she did that year was to steal papers from ELQ, papers AJ was resposible for a made it look like AJ left the papers at a irresponsible place. AJ, at the moment has been somber for months, but Kathy made sure all the Q's knew about what AJ "did"-- all the stock holders began to belittle AJ...to make a long story short...AJ began drinking again...AJ began to work at the Gym at the hospital. Jason and Keisha fell love, and each made love for the first time, in Paris.

1996
The year AJ's life changed forever, the year his best friend died.***
One day, after having an agrument with his cruel relatives, AJ, did something awful, he drank and drive yet again. He already was arrested for drinking and driving twice before. AJ, was sick of the way he was treated at home and decided, to take off in Lois's car. {I don't remember the details that well, because, I missed that fatal scene, I hated myself each time I think about it, I taped the day before, I taped the day after, but I missed it! :-( } Jason, the only one in the Quartermaine Manison who cared to look for the missing AJ, went out to look for his brother. And found him he did, about to take off drunk. Jason then told AJ..."Don't!!!" I remember the recaps soo well...but when AJ did not listen he jumped in the car, without the seat belt clinched, and attempted to remove AJ from the steering wheel.**** Then something like a quick stop happened and Jason went head first into a tree. Ned saw it all, and dragged the drunk AJ to the gatehouse. Ned rushed Jason to the hospital. Ned took the blame for almost killing Jason, but did not let AJ forget it. Ned played the cruel game of letting AJ believe that he killed Jason for a while (at least I took it that way...). Then finally, Ned said, "No, you didn't kill Jason, but you sure as hell almost did!"
Everyone extremely worried, even me, in a way, prayed and stayed near Jason at his hospital bed for Jason to wake up. One thought kept stroming through my mind...please...please don't kill Jason. And well, half of my plead was answered. Jason woke up, but then the knife was twisted in my heart .Jason's amneisa, was not temporary as most soap storylines but perament. The character that I loved so much was basically dead, and what was left was this wild rebel character, who started to be mean to all the Q's except for the new edition to the family, Emily, and the annoying Ned. Jason renamed himself Jason Morgan. Morgan, Lila's maiden name was also Jason's middle name, so he just dropped Quartermaine.
At first I disliked the new Jason, but then his relationship with Robin warmed my heart. I remember when the drunk AJ (yup once again) told Robin and Jason the truth...that he...not Ned...drove the car that almost killed him. I remember, shocked Jason just stopped the car and Robin told him...let it be. Oh...even those were the days...but still I miss Jason Quartermaine soooooo much!!!!!
1997
The Year AJ Became a Father, also the day Emily...
Carly Roberts, would was once involved with Jason, was now involved with Tony Jones. Tony still gave Bobbie lots of attention and this made Carly very jealous. One day, the insecure Carly and Tony had a fight. Feeling unloved, Carly took off to Jake's to try to find Jason. Instead, she meant up with AJ. AJ, extremely grief stricken about how he killed his brother, was already drunk and needed some tender loving care. Carly was not drunk yet, but she did not object the idea of drowning her problems with beer. Soon, she was drunk as well, but not as much as AJ. Out of comfort, AJ and Carly made love that night, conceiving their son. After Tony appoligized to Carly and they made up, Carly felt guilty about her tryst with AJ. And she went to AJ to ask him to keep the night before secret. But lucky for her AJ, did not remember, he was too drunk. Carly was soooo glad. She intended it to stay that way. --Tan--BTW, the night before Emily nearly OD on drugs, Jason saved her life, the Q's bad mouthed AJ for not being there, and at first would not let AJ see Emily...uh...what kind of crap was that!?!?
Anyway, Carly pulled off her plan to make AJ forget. After the one night stand, and the news of Emily's overdose, AJ swore never to fall off the wagon again, and if he does, he would go to a rehap center. Carly remembered this, she was determined to make AJ fall off the wagon again, or at least try to make it appear that he did. So, one day, while talking and visiting as friends, Carly slipped something in AJ's softdrink. So, to make a long story short, AJ passed out, Carly placed AJ in Laundry chart, covered with the vonka she spilled all over him...then called the Q's. Ah...true love...LOL!
Anyway, AJ never really bought the fact he slipped, he thought about it, but decided not to leave, to the dismay of Alan and the others, who had a hissy!!! They said, here's AJ, breaking another promise!!! Man!!! I wanted to smack the dorks...I know...I know...the dramatic irony allowed us to see things they couldn't but still it annoyed the hell of of me!!!
1998-1999
The more things change...the more they stay the same...
Carly, relieved that Tony is not the father of her child, Michael, continued the lie that Jason was. AJ just wanted to see his nephew as an uncle, yeah, he said somethings about raising the baby himself, but I don't think he would really keep the baby from Carly. He just didn't want his "nephew" away from him.

AJ Confronts Jason...
'98 - Alan & Emily/AJ and Jason
The Q's find out that Alan was arrested for Murder...not really a AJ scene...but AJ's in it and has some truely hillarious things to say!!!
Old Friend Robin, joined the lie-a-thon. She finally got a brain (JMO) and told the truth a year later. I remember the scene where AJ learned the truth almost clearly...
AJ: You were trying to protect my son from me? (the hurt look in AJ's eyes made me cry tears of happiness, saddness and anger, and made me want to punch out Jason, not that I could but I wanted too!)
Robin: (just one simple phrase, an almost meaningless phrase...) I'm sorry...
Well, what else could she say!??! Then Jason, gave her this cruel look...it made me what to punch him out even more!!!!
Jason: You did what?!?! You are Dead to me Robin! Go!
uhhhhh....
Me: Jason! You have been DEAD to ME!!! for a long while...you came back to me in a different way once, but then you died again...what's with you Jason...

Robin Tells AJ the Truth About Michael: Plus My Side Comments
April 1999 - July 12, 1999 *****
While AJ and Carly had temporary full custody...Jason got unlimited visitation as the result of Ned the dork and Alexis. Then after AJ and Carly received primary custody, Jason still received partial custody. AND a review was planned for the following year...
AJ and Carly married, Carly still longed for Jason. Carly is playing to trick AJ and make him drink again. Haven't worked so far.

AJ is now CEO of ELQ. Ned ain't that happy (oh well!!!) and Edward is playing games (and what else is new???). Carly, it has seem...that she has haulted on the let's get AJ drunk thing...Thank Goodness!!!! And she helped AJ with ELQ yesterday...MMMMM :-)
August 1999
AJ finally treated Carly to a honeymood in Hawaii, Leticia and Michael also came along. Reginald got heartsick from the missing Leticia. AJ came back to Port Charles a bit early on ELQ business, but is not back in Hawaii...AJ and Carly fans are disappointed that we are not allowed to see the Honeymoon. GH is probably to cheap to show us...or just want to annoy us...or Sarah Brown is on vacation...no idea...
September - October 23, 1999
Nothing real interesting. Next week AJ is going to ask Carly "What the hell is going on?" More details next week, but hey! Will we get a correct answer or some bull? I'm not being that optimistic, eh? Well, oh well. Give me a reason GH, I dare ya. Oh wait there are some details for me to tell ya all. Miss Caroline got mugged and the goons stole all the things AJ gave her, and Saint Jason conviently replaced them. When will the insanity end? Time will tell, or will it?
