Our Lady Peace forms a mixture of intellect, melody and talent. The music is exciting and original. If you don't like it the first time you hear it, give it a second chance! I assure you that you'll get the hang of Raine's whining yet intoxicating voice and Jeremy's wickedly uneven drumbeats. Once your interest has been peaked, their experimental style will keep you hooked. Not too long ago, Our Lady Peace was known as a kind of 'underground' band here in the US... playing in relatively small clubs, often as the opening act (but everyone knew that all the concert-goers were OLP fans). Now, however, due to their continually growing popularity, they can only be found playing the larger venues. The transistion to larger venues has been a little dissapointing to many of the die-hard fans, as small to moderate venues tend to provide the best atmosphere. Mosh pits can be found in the small venues, but are not at all necessary to enjoy the show. Personally, I've seen them in concert 5 times, but have never been successful in meeting the band. Each time, Raine and the boys have provided top-notch performaces. Among my own experiences: good crowds, movies, cool Canadian venues, mosh pits, no mosh pits... but always a good time.  If you can, see them at least once.
