The trials in our lives, why are they there?
What causes us to bear the grief
Why do we continue without a care
How can we ever deal within the belief
A higher power decides the test
Chooses our time and place of decisions
It's up to us to determine if we are better than the rest
So, pick your vices with care, they are your only provisions
We deal with these things in the best way we can
Our strength is gained from a peace in deep offense
Allow no rebounds to destroy you from any man
Take faith in yourself, it is your best defense
Love for family, friends and most importantly self
Will surely put you far above the best
Your might will enable you to see that strife is deaf
Keep to the path, you will find that you are ahead of the rest
