A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin this Righthander was drafted on April the First. He’s been a nice addition the Cobras. We asked Ken about this, and this was what he had to say “Hey Guy’s glad to see you could make it over here. In the last 10 Games I’ve went 2 and 7 with one no decision. On June 30th I won the “player of the Game” Award. I have been averaging between six and eight innings pitched each time out. In the last Sim I went sin innings and received the loss to Bridgeport. On my next to last start I received the “Player of the Game” Award while going 8 Innings giving up 5 Hits, 1 Run, 3 Base on Balls, and Striking out 5. What a great night that was we beat the great team of Toronto. I was pitching against Willie Hyndman and he’s a great pitcher. Rich Blundell went 3 for 5 in that game scoring 2 runs for us. Tyler Scrima hit his first Major League Home Run in that Game and he was really pumped up. The Guy’s got me 3 Double Plays in that game to which makes my job so much easier. Joe Rocket had a Double, scored a run, and knocking in a run.
In my last outing we lost 5 to 3 to Bridgeport We hadf the bases loaded three time in that game but we just couldn’t get more runners home. The Guy’s turned one Double Play for me which helps me a whole lot. Tyler Scrima had a couple more hits driving in a run and scoring a run. Humberto Martinez had a couple hits driving in a run. Steven Babel had a nice Triple I just love to see that Guy run at 212 pounds he sure can motor around those bases”.
“As for the way I’m pitching right now, I’m just in a small funk that I’ll have to work my way out of. I know I can pitch of here and right now the Team is in a hitting slump, once we get that out of the way I think we’ll be OK. I’ll see you after tonight’s Sim and hopefully I’ll have a couple of wins to talk to about. I’ve got to hit the Trainers Table to get my shoulder rubbed down. So Later Guy’s”.
