Yes, you sure have grown. Last time I saw each of you was when you were infants. I suppose you are wondering why you where called here. I am sure you have heard of the fate of the Kesi family that lived in the castle just west of here. Well in the event that you were miss informed I am going to tell you what happend. The family Kesi was known to be a family of vampires, and that made people uneasy. The fact is they were vampires and their fall was at the hand of slayers. I have heard gossip that people think the daughter killed them and then ran away. This is not true, I had gotten word of the Kesi's death before the girl returned from her quest.

I'm also sure that you have heard the stories about the Kesi's selling their children. They did have two children that where given, not sold, to me. I was to place them in homes where they would be safe.

The old woman pauses for a moment looking at the two girls and then continues

Tara and Megan you two are the missing Kesi daughters. I promised your birth mother that if the day came that she died, I would tell you of this secret. She was afraid that you would hate her for giving you away. Truth be told she wanted to keep you but your father, Quinton Kesi only wanted boys. She was only allowed to keep the youngest daughter because upon giving birth to her your mother almost died. For medical reasons she wouldnt be able to have anymore children. Because of this fact Quinton let her keep the child knowing that she always wanted a daughter.

Now after the family has been killed, the girl is out looking for someplace to belong. I have heard of her general where abouts but not exact location. She is said to be in a land called Tyran. She has also been seen in the forest near the castle of her fallen family. I believe that she is the one who returned and burried her family members in the garden.

The old woman stands slowly and reaches for her staff. She smiles to the two girls whos faces are expressionless.

She leads them to a small room. Upon the walls hang weapons. There is a small table covered with boxes of stones and on the far wall a wooden cabinet filled with spices. Just inside the door on the right is a large wooden chest. The woman opens the chest and reaches inside. She brings out two pouches that are hand made. They are both black and have a strange symbol on them. She looks into one and then hands it to Tara and hands the other to Megan.

These where given to me by your mother when she brought you to me. It was to be given to you with the news of your family history. I do not know what these things are or why she wanted you to have them but they are yours.

She smiles at the two girls who look a bit overwhelmed. She leads them out to the front door to send them on their way.

With a smile she closes the door behind them knowing they will be back soon.

I love you with all my heart and it kills me that I must send you away. You are the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen. Please forgive your father and I for what we have to do. The symbol on your ring and pouch is the symbol for water. Water is your element and that is where your name comes from. Megan Shimmer Kesi is your given birth name. You have a sister Tara Breeze Kesi whom by now you have met. I ask that you and your sister seek out the rest of our family.
