Game 1, Game 1, Game 1, what a win for the Avalanche, and Patrick Roy's goaltending. The Devils clearly did not have their A-game, and their A-Line going tonight. If you would have told me Martin Broduer would be this bad, I would have laughed in your face. I even predicted that if the Avs won, it would be about 2-1. Patrick Roy showed up to play last night and I don't expect him to slow down a bit in Game 2. Roy has shown time over time that he can be as dominate as anyone in the NHL. (and many people do believe that he is the most dominating goalie in the league) I also believe that when he gets in to that zone that nobody can ever relate to in Hockey. Put it this way, it's like me trying to outskate Paul Kariya or Pavel Bure, it just isn't going to happen, ever, period.
Well first what they have to do is shoot at Roy, sooner or later it's going to go in. They have to play a lot more physical, which if Avalanche can keep up their physical play, the Devils may not have a chance with Roy in his zone. Also, that A-Line of theirs must come though this series along with Alexender Moginly and Scott Gomez. If these players don't show up, the Devils don't raise a Cup.
1)Stay Heathly
2)Play Physical
3)Believe they can win
4) Shoot on Broduer (a lot)
Well this comes to conclusion on my first update and hope to see you back here next Sunday when I give more insight to Games 2 and 3. Goodbye, and Godbless
