First Update:

As we upcome the first edition of my Experts Update Page, I would like to say thanks to the Webmaster of this page for letting me be on his site. It may be small site right now, but he has reassured me it will have it's excellence when great viewers come to this site.

On Game 1

Game 1, Game 1, Game 1, what a win for the Avalanche, and Patrick Roy's goaltending. The Devils clearly did not have their A-game, and their A-Line going tonight. If you would have told me Martin Broduer would be this bad, I would have laughed in your face. I even predicted that if the Avs won, it would be about 2-1. Patrick Roy showed up to play last night and I don't expect him to slow down a bit in Game 2. Roy has shown time over time that he can be as dominate as anyone in the NHL. (and many people do believe that he is the most dominating goalie in the league) I also believe that when he gets in to that zone that nobody can ever relate to in Hockey. Put it this way, it's like me trying to outskate Paul Kariya or Pavel Bure, it just isn't going to happen, ever, period.

On Super Joe Sakic

Joe Sakic is probably an Easy Hart Trophy Winner, and Conn Smythe along with Patrick Roy. Both have been superb without Forsberg. Sakic is the can do anything almost. He can outmanuver you. I mean look what he did shorthanded against San Jose in the regular season. He was spinning, and dekeing for about 30 seconds in the right corner in San Jose's end. In the end, he dished a tape to tape pass right to Bourque and Bourque shot it right over Evgeni Nabokov, which is a great goaltender. Just last night, he took Scott Stevens to his hands and knees because he was faking and dekeing to get a clear shot on goal, and that extra time he took, made another New Jersey Devil run into Martin Broduer and then netted it. The other goal he made he wasn't even shooting there, but found a way to make it go through the five-hole of Martin Broduer, which didn't have a very good game. Joe and Patrick are the best Captain and Goalie. Let's say this, Stevens and Broduer, Peca and Hasek, Yzerman and Osgood, Sundin and Curtis Joseph. No one matches in the generation.

On what the Devils have to do to win

Well first what they have to do is shoot at Roy, sooner or later it's going to go in. They have to play a lot more physical, which if Avalanche can keep up their physical play, the Devils may not have a chance with Roy in his zone. Also, that A-Line of theirs must come though this series along with Alexender Moginly and Scott Gomez. If these players don't show up, the Devils don't raise a Cup.

On what the Avs have to do to Win

The Avs have to do all of 4 things

1)Stay Heathly

2)Play Physical

3)Believe they can win

4) Shoot on Broduer (a lot)

Well this comes to conclusion on my first update and hope to see you back here next Sunday when I give more insight to Games 2 and 3. Goodbye, and Godbless
