I got my second segment today!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!! Thank you SO much Dragon!!!! Now all I need are about 50 more...or come on, I'm expecting a third eventually!!! Well, send me a segment here and get moving with it!

Heyyyy Peoples!!!! I think I will start an interesting thingy. Forgive my language-I don't feel like using my vocabulary today, I'm sorry to say. Anyway, I thought I'd start a group fanfic thingy (there I go again!). You know, one of those things where a person (say, me, for example) starts a story and writes a few paragraphs. Other people can then send in a few paragraphs (as much as you want, really. If you want to send in four pages, send in four pages for all I care) by email to continue the story. If you want to continue, email me here to contribute. Anyway, here's the first story idea:

Note: if this story seems too dark (*evil cackle*) for you, DON'T READ IT!!!!!!

Well, my idea was about this kid of Alanna's. It's a , of course. However, Roger seems to have a bit of power from the realms of the . (I'm assuming he's not *shudder* a god) Sooooooooo, he decides to use this to help him get revenge on Alanna/Tortall. She is born and Roger's sould is partly reincarnated in her. She hears his voice inside her head or something. She probably gets in a lot of trouble. She is, of course, an - e (a cool word I got from my friend Megan aka Megalicious. Hey, she calls me Chrissy-tina! No, we are not insane.) character, and rather the baddie of the series. At least to start. Add in any other characters that you want.

George sat by Alanna's bedside, cradling her hand and looking worriedly at her furrowed brow. She had fainted, several hours earlier, and was now dozing in a troubled sleep. "Roger," she muttered.

Meanwhile, his daughter, Anabelle was looking ly and sadly at her mother, however, she had a victorious spark in her eyes.

"Oh, father! I'm so sorry. It was all my fault!" She cried, sobbing into George's shoulder.

"Oh, no, sweetheart. It wasn't. Why don't you go talk with your sisters and brothers, while I tend to your Mother?"

Anabelle nodded and walked out the door. Alanna awoke soon after, and clung to George's hand. "Oh, George! I couldn't believe it! It was such a scare! Anabelle's gift, oh! I thought he was gone!, her gift was *gasp* orange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

George hugged her tightly. "I know. But she's our daughter. And I'm sure it is just a coincidence."

Alanna nodded, but she wasn't quite sure.

In the years that passed, Anabelle sometimes wondered why her Mother acted oddly around her. She wondered if she saw through her mask of innocence...but she couldn't, it was impossible!

Calm down, my sweet, Roger's voice echoed in her ears. No one will know, until we are ready to vanquish the world together.

Anabelle smiled, and her eyes focused on a point inside her that she would one day reveal to the world.

That night...

Alanna laid in her bed, eyes wide. She was thinking about today's events, she was pretty sure that something was wrong with thier daughter but she couldn't place what. Then something jerked at her magic! She closed out her magic abruptly but whatever or whoever it was, was already gone. She sighed and closed her eyes to think. Something was definitely wrong! She came up with nothing else besides that something didn't want her to know what was going on. Then she debated to wake up George, but no, he couldn't help her. Something pulled at defenses! She rolled out of bed! She managed to get to her knees. She now had a pounding ache in the back of her head. It felt like it was searching for something! Her magic, she thought. The pounding stopped abruptly, she screamed and passed out! George swung out of bed and came to her aid.

Anabelle was awake also, and she waited for Roger to reach her. Her head started pounding slightly, he's here she thought,I wish I had better news to tell him. She sighed. He wasn't going to be happy. After a few moments a voice asked, did you get it? She gulped. No, she closed out her magic to fast, I was hoping she would've been asleep but she wasn't. She could feel Roger's anger well up inside her like a volcano. It wasn't my fault, she pleaded. He calmed down a bit. I know darling, your mother always was a quick one, then went away. She dropped into a deep sleep. Talking to Roger for long periods of time made her sleepy. She slept a dreamless sleep that night.

"I have to do it, George." Alanna sighed. She hated leaving herself even a bit defenseless. It was worse when her husband gave her that concerned look that was as good as saying, "I won't let you out of my sight for weeks." "Jon's too well-defended for whatever is prying at my Gift to have a chance at getting it. Even if it's a friend, I won't feel safe until it's safe. Remember Roger. If he'd've gotten at my Gift, I don't think we'd be here today." "Not to be belittlin' your concerns, but Roger's twice in th' grave. Who could match 'im in power or plottin'?" George sighed. "I hate leavin' ye without defense to the kind o' attack someone with that caliber o' power could mount against you, even should you be right." "It's a risk," Alanna admitted. "I can't swallow the bigger one of losing my Gift to a hostile force. After all, I can't be awake all the time." "I don't like it." "Trust me, neither do I." -"Sir" Kayt
