TRAVELING COMPANIONS

As we travel life's highway,
Through sunshine and rain,
It's best to have someone alongside
To share the joy and the pain.
 For the trip is seldom easy,
 The road often rocky and rough,
 And the lone wanderer finds the passage
Lonely,  dark and tough.

Traveling companions forever,
 Journeying ever on together,
Side by side and hand in hand,
No matter what the road or weather.
To offer a warm and friendly hand,
 And a strong, outstretched arm,
Inviting a dance in the moonlight,
Or a shelter from the storm.

Comforting, strengthening,
Helping to bear the load.
 Step by step through Life's journey.
Traveling together down Love's road.
