Thinking Poem
As I sit and think about you
My mind wonders
I think about what we talked about
And all the common grounds we have
The glory I feel inside
Is a treasure in itself
I think about what it would be like
To have you by my side
Oh so near me day and night
I think of the walks and talks we could share
On the beach or the street or anywhere
I think of the warm, cozy nights
As I feel your body by my side
I think about you in the field
Of all the dangers
That you endure
But I know that in time
You will be by my side.
