M*O*T*H*E*R

As i gaze into her eyes,
I see a part of me in her.

Her strength and love throughout the years,

Her courage in this waking hour,

Her gentleness when we were bad,

Her love and concern when we were hurt,

Mom if I could be like anyone in the world,

I would choose to be just like you.

I learned a lot from your pain and strife.

I will raise my kids in the same manner as I was.

For I believe I was raised in the best way.

I love my mom with all my heart.

I know no whater what she will never part.

And she will always be there for me.

In life or in spirit, she is a strong mom.

One day I will be as strong as her.

I thank Our God above to have a wonderful mother like her.

She raised me with the respect and admiration.

That a child should have and know.

If it weren't for my mom and dad.

I might have strayed off this less beaten path.

Because of them I am on the straight and narrow.

And I love my mom for that.

No matter where this road called "Life" might end,

I know that I will always have a friend.

As I end this poem to the greatest mother A child could ever ask for.

I just want to say, "I am glad and proud to call you 'My Mother'."
