The latest coincidence in Weezie's life... Not a huge one this time, but... Last night I sketched a picture of a new character of mine, Yumiko Hashiba. She's a singer. Anyways, I wanted to give her a cool image, unlike any current j-pop star out there. So I give her a fricken sweet hair style, shown in the sketch here. She's cute, huh? Anyways, I was looking at some pics of Ayumi Hamasaki (my most favourite j-pop artist) today and I stumbled upon this. Wtf?! Ayu already had the hair style that I made up in an attempt to do something original. Attempting to make a j pop idol that looks like no other...I gave her a hair style that Ayu, the most famous of all Japanese singers, already had once. Oh well... Her face still looks different.. I don't like how Yumiko's face looks in the sketch though...Not Japanese enough. She almost looks like Penelope Cruz. Which is most definitly not an insult though...

Yesterday I went to Grand Valley, dropped off some more stuff for admissions, and got to see Alex. We went to some Tiki resturaunt thing at the mall, a wannabe Rainforest Cafe. It was amusing, in an almost sad way. Then we got to see the Pseudo show, which was excellent. Even the new people were hilarious, especially Ben doing that trapped bird thing. "This happened to me once in a Wal-Mart!" It was good fun.
