To all Alamak Chatters and Supporters;

Greeetings!

Finally, the first ever Alamak Outreach Activity is in its final stage, inspite of some
obstacles, problems and hindrances, still the Project manage to overcome it.Few years ago,
when Alamak.com Philippines room was still young, a lot of chatters planned an outreach
activity, as well as sportfest, outing and acquaintance activity. But all those ideas were
only kept among those chatters and for some reasons the plan were not push through. Until
recently, a group of Veterans, newbie chatters, students as well as professional during a
certain weekly "GIMICK" revive the plans, conceptualize it, and put it into a reality.

A lot of issues concerning the project's real purpose and objectives were circling
Alamak; though few are destructive others are constructive. We would like to give you the
real purpose and objectives of its existence;

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

   To build camaraderie among the chatters through charitable or outreach project,
   sportfest, outings, acquaintance activity and others.
   To promote clean, fun and friendly chat among the chatters of alamak.
   To create an organization among Alamak Chatters in a voluntary basis, solidify its
   existence, and make it recognize by the public as well as the government.

The Outreach Activity and some future activities like sportfest, outings and acquaintance
activity are just part of the plans to pursue the long dream of Alamak chatters particularly
all those who chat in Philippine Room in having an organization recognize by the public and
the Government. Also, in the activities mention above, it will give way in building strong
camaraderie and cooperation as well as promoting clean, fun and friendly chat.

Some might wondering about the Alamak Outreach Activity, why...who...and to whom are some
of those question. The Organizers conceptualize the activity upon hearing some feed backs
and encouragement to other chatters in creating such activity. A lot of chatters would want
an activity that is socially relevant, timely and heartfelt warm feeling. So we chose a
foundation for orphanage and street children whom we think will fit the chatters request.
And since we are trying to build camaraderie among us, we feel that launching this activity
will best serve for its purpose.

After looking for a Foundation, we found the right recipient for the project; we chose
"AHON BATA CENTER" located at Pasay City. The orphanage is a processing center and a
temporary shelter for street children within M. Manila area. We have met with the social
workers of the foundation and their response was very positive. They are very eager to
accommodate us and conduct our Outreach Project to their place. The date of our visit and
special EB for that specific project will be announce on our "Post Valentine EB".

Since we will visit an Orphanage, funds are needed to run the activity as well as the
special gift that will be given to the recipient. The question is how are we going to raise
a small amount of funds to be use. The solution...Why not launch the Program through the EB.
Yes,and here we are, successfully enjoyed it last January 19. For every P 130.00, P30.00
will go to the funds and will be given straight to the foundation. In what form in cash or
goods, the organizer are still deciding on it. But since this is the first time that will
happen to alamak, we want all the chatters to be well inform and for them not to be surprise
regarding the project. We have Calculated the funds that we accumulated last EB, we have
raise P1830.00 for 61 attendees. Not much, not less for a first time activity. But of
course, we still need other activity to add to the funds that we collected last EB. We will
going to have another fund raising at the same time Alamak's Post Valentine EB on February
16, Saturday. The place will be announced later. We promise you that the Post valentine EB
will be more exciting and a memorable one. The organizer will prepare a program and will
give emphasis on acquaintance and fellowship.

We would like to thank all those Chatters, Supporters and Visitors who participated and
attended the EB for the Outreach Activity. We will promise you that all funds that will be
given and spend will be well allocated and documented. We hope you could join us again for
another Alamak activity. If you have time, we are encouraging you to join the committee,
attend the meetings, use your talents and work together to pursue our purposes and
objectives for Alamak Chatters sake.

The Sportfest and Outing Activity is in is planning stage, any suggestion will be well
