Raindrops on the roses, like tears inside my heart
Filled with long ago memories, since we've been apart
The years we were together, the time that we both shared
Lost in dreams of yesterday, lost forever dear

I thought we were together, from the beginning to the end
But life had a different plan and I'm alone again
I'll cherish all the moments, the memories inside
I'll hold them close inside my heart, until the day I die

You filled my life with happiness, somehow we got lost
And then one day you left me, and that day broke my heart
I never thought we'd end this way, I thought we had it made
But now the tears must fall, before your memory fades
