Arrange the altar as usual, however place a
wheel
symbol in the center of the altar. Place pale
pink and
yellow candles around the wheel. These candles
will
represent the “Easter fires” and illustrate
the fire
aspect of this sabbat. To represent the Goddess
and
rebirth decorate eggs in colors representing
the
elements and the Goddess and God. Use these
to
decorate the altar and circle.
Stand at the center of the circle with a white
candle
in both hands. Raise the candle above your
head and
recite:
Ancient Ones I now impart
By candle flame remove the dark.
Move to the North position and recite:
With this light
A welcome comes
To the Watchtower of the North,
Element of Earth.
Continue around the circle until all the elements
have
been welcomed. Now cast the circle and invoke
the God
and Goddess.
Dancing and laughter bring
Young Maiden of the Spring.
Youthful, fresh, and pure
Enter my heart and welcome here.
Blossoms and light bring
Young Lord of the Spring.
Youthful, fresh, and pure
Enter my heart and welcome here.
Spend a few minutes visualizing the youthful
pair
romping through the reborn forest. Bring forth
images
of flowers emerging from the melting snow.
Listen to
the sound of the streams slowly flowing as
the ice
melts. Listen also to the songs of the birds
as they
return to the forest. Breathe in the fragrance
of the
blossoming flowers and fresh earth. Know that
life has
returned and the wheel is turning yet again.
Spend some time blessing household plants and
new
seeds. Follow with any necessary works of
magick,
especially that of purification and renewal.
Celebrate
the Simple Feast. Release the Circle.
