Operation Meteor started. Zechs Merquise, Treize Khushrenada, Relena Darlain, Heero Yuy, Trowa Barton, Chang Wufei, Duo Maxwell, and Quatre Raberba Winner are introduced. After a battle with Zechs Heero’s Gundam is in a deep-sea grave. Heero’s body is washed up onto shore where Relena finds him. After calling an ambulance Heero regains consciousness and fights his way to the ambulance and escapes. Relena later meets him at school and learns his name. She invites him to her birthday party. Heero’s response is to tear up the invitation and as he walks away he wipes a tear from her eye and answers her question of why with “I will kill you.”
Duo returns with vengeance, he picks up Heero’s Gundam for spare parts as Heero is planning to destroy it. Relena’s birthday went slowly until the blonde classmate shows up and tells Relena that he saw Heero driving an ambulance. Trowa joins the circus and meets Katie. Quatre is still in the middle of no-where longing to meet the other Gundam pilots. Wufei is buying weapons (typical). End result is Heero and Duo meet under unpleasant circumstances. Duo tries to play the hero for Relena and gets painted the bad guy. Duo does realize that Heero is another Gundam pilot. My only question is why are they leaving Heero face down in the ocean?
Heero is a maximum-security hospital; Sally Po is introduced to Relena. He is thought to be unconscious since his body temperature and brain waves are unchanged and low. Duo, the explosives master it seems, plans an escape for him. As they fall from the fifty-fifth floor Heero goes suicidal. He pulls his shoot at the last minute after he hears Relena. Duo is a little unsettled over the actions of Heero. Zechs meets the Tallgeese and Trowa meets Quatre in battle. Duo recovers both his and Heero’s Gundam from the sea.
Zechs meets Noin at the Victoria base. Wufei uses those explosives on the soldiers’ dorms. Heero takes parts from Duo’s Gundam to repair his own. Most of the episode is Zechs and Noin catching up on time. Otto checks in with Zechs to tell him that the Tallgeese was far more advanced than they thought. Noin goes after his and underestimates him because of the fact he is a kid. Wufei won’t kill bleeding hearts or women so he only immobilizes Noin’s Aries suit. It ends with Wufei being discontented with weak enemies.
Relena takes her second trip into space with her father and Lady Une. Trowa parts ways with Quatre for the time being. Heero is assigned a new mission; at the same time Howard has just repaired Duo’s Gundam. Howard is one of the original scientists that built the Gundams. Lady Une assassinates Mr. Dorland and almost gets killed herself by Relena’s kindness in returning the compact. In Mr. Dorland’s final words he tells Relena that she is not his daughter and her real family is the Peacecraft Family and to beware of OZ. Zechs implies his sympathy towards Relena to Noin. Duo goes on his mission so does Heero they meet on the battlefield and Heero returns the favor by destroying a mobile suit that was unseen by Duo. Relena on the colony meets Dr. J and learns that he is the one that sent Heero to earth. He warns her to stay away from Heero but not before telling her that he is a kindhearted boy.
Relena returns from space to find that nobody on Earth understands why her father died. Lady Une plans attack Relena’s school to finish her mission. Relena goes to the party to find that Heero is transferring schools. She goes to confront him to find him packing. She surprises Heero when she says she has met Dr. J. Heero pulls a gun on her but she gets her dance with Heero after pointing out that shooting her now would only draw attention to him and he wouldn’t want that. As Lady Une attacks Heero again saves Relena. He finds he can’t kill her and flies off. Treize calls off Une’s mission after getting Zechs’s wishes through contact with Noin. Wufei’s free ride ends in explosion, he points out that their defeat was due to poor security. Trowa has his first circus performance. He throws Catherine off by his wanting to die. She miss throws the knife cutting him. Duo is still on the barge staring up at the moon and wonders if Heero ever took the time to notice it. Quatre suspects that there are other Gundam pilots and wishes to meet them.
A trap is set for the Gundams by circulating a rumor that top OZ officials are meeting at New Edwards base, where in reality Earth Sphere Alliance officials in favor of peace are meeting to further discuss peace between earth and the colonies. Quatre meets up again with Trowa on the way to New Edwards. Heero breaks into an aircraft facility to take over a plane that Duo has already commandeered a little more quietly. Duo and Heero arrive first noticing that they have underestimated the enemy. Treize has all the pro peace officers get onto one of his OZ jets. Trowa and Quatre arrive next and fire on Heero and Duo for the sole reason that they were in the way of the mission. As the first OZ jet leaves Heero goes after it and destroys it killing all the peaceful officers. Wufei shows up to tell them that OZ has used them all. Lady Une assassinates Septum after he finishes his report on the incident. Treize makes the comment that the second act has begun.
The Gundams leave the New Edwards battle. Heero is still disheartened by failing. Going after Treize was voted down due to that the strategy is to attack when it is least expected. New Edwards is about to self detonate and Heero goes into the base to disarm them after Sally requests it of him after making no progress with talking to OZ. The Gundams won’t leave without Heero but he isn’t into fighting right now. The deactivation is thought to be impossible for anyone except Heero. “A failed mission means death but my card hasn’t come up yet.” Quatre tells Heero where to go as Duo secures transport planes. Quatre believes in Heero even though he only has a ten percent chance of success. Wufei catches up with Treize after Lady Une confesses yet another failure. Zechs gets his revenge for the destruction of his family and kingdom and Milliardo Peacecraft is revealed as his true name. The carriers that contain the Gundams are given permission to land on Treize’s ships. Une is trying to hold them back with Leos and is failing again. Wufei wastes now time to find Treize and destroys all else in his path. Trowa gets knocked off the ship into a sea of Cancers. Lady Une goes after Nataku to protect Treize. Lady Une’s fatal fault in battle is getting emotional. Treize give Une a nature scene to look at to keep her out of the way. Treize challenges Wufei to a sword fight. Treize wins this battle but will not kill Wufei even after Wufei’s threats to keep coming back. He spared him because he came out of his Gundam to fight at something he was not as apt at. Wufei goes back to the ocean like Heero defeated.
Otto returns to Zechs with a report on the Tallgeese. The suit has broken Otto’s ribs. Zechs is anxious to try it out knowing that its full power is still unknown. Duo and Heero are enrolled in the same school temporarily. Duo fits right in but Heero remains distant. Relena returns to Heero. Duo is surprised to see her knowing Heero is trying to kill her. Zechs takes over Tallgeese and finds it is a suit with more power than imagined. The Sanku kingdom attacks the oncoming suits. Noin retreats and Zechs goes in for the kill still slightly scared of the suit’s power. He pulls off the power spiting blood. Quatre gets the parent talk from his forty followers. Quatre describes the others as violent and deadly but really nice guys. Trowa and Wufei go back to the circus; Catherine is lost for why they are so quiet. Zechs had a heart attack in the Tallgeese and now understands the suit. Otto climbs back into the suit to reclaim the Sanku kingdom. Relena thinks Heero is the support she needs to deal with her father’s death. Outside Duo and Heero are in the middle of destroying a ship. Otto flies directly into fire killing himself and the Alliance’s hold on the kingdom. Thirteen years and Zechs returns home, his hands are stained with blood and can’t rule under their theories with that.
Une is a little jealous of Zechs and Noin’s special treatment by Treize. Zechs still does not want to be known by his name. Une holds her presentation to the force about the Gundams and their strengths and apparent weaknesses. Zechs humors her knowledge of the Gundams. Dr. J is informing Heero on the Taurus suits at the same time. Duo says good-bye to Heero before he goes to battle OZ. Each Gundam chooses which transport to attack based on the strength of their suit. Relena again learns that Heero has moved on. Quatre is saved from am oncoming train by Duo. A cheap shot knocked Sandrock onto the tracks. The land route is a decoy. Trowa is attacking the air route. Heero is also coming after that route but Zechs catches up to him first. Zechs and Heero duel in their suits. Trowa notices the new suit and learns it is the prototype Leo. Space fortress Barge is brought into play as a trump card. If they don’t surrender they will attack the colonies. Zechs tries to reason with Une and her decision to attack the colonies. Dr. J comes forward and claims to be the one behind the Gundams and their attacks. Heero self detonates his Gundam while still aboard. Quatre, Noin, Zechs, and Une are all in shock. Quatre takes it the worst. Zechs tells the Gundams to go, he will not fight them like this. Treize tells Une to be more graceful. Trowa takes Heero with him in the hands of Heavyarms. Heero is bleeding and in shock.
Quatre signals Duo to follow him to a way out, through a sand storm. OZ recovers the ruined parts of Heero’s Gundam. Zechs is going to fix the Gundam and believes that Heero is still alive. Une apologizes to Treize for her act on the colonies. Lady Une is to go to space, not as a military force. Duo is shown into Quatre’s people’s base. Quatre’s family is that of pacifists. Duo claims he might run and hide but he never tells a lie. Relena dresses up and goes to a party escorted by Weridge. Mobile suits come to guard the party. Relena learns her family history through him. Relena pulls a gun on Une, she misses and hits the rose destroying it. Weridge stands in the way of Une so she can’t get to Relena. Duo is in awe of the celebration being held in honor of Quatre and his followers’ safe return. They find out that they have the same mission word for word. Heero fell for the same mission and the idea that it is better to die than live under OZ. OZ visits the town and set bombs all over to destroy it or bring out the Gundams. Rasid tells the citizens that the Gundams will not fight this battle with them only Quatre’s followers. Quatre and Duo get out and circle the sky. Duo opens fire from the carrier. Duo vows to unit the colonies warriors. Relena is caught but OZ but Noin takes over the capture. Relena doesn’t trust her but she came to help her.
Heero wakes up to find the Trowa and Catherine have been taking care of him. Heero makes a joke that (dying) it hurts like hell. Trowa can laugh? No missions have been issued since Heero was thought to have died. Sally is fighting against OZ still and Wufei is in the wild admiring birds. Wufei comes to Sally’s rescue and tells her not to fight but to retreat. He also informs her that she should not fight because she is weak. Wufei is generally quiet the next morning on the way to town with Sally. In town soldiers are beating up a shop owner. Sally and Wufei help the owner. Sally gets hit with a chair and Wufei takes over for the win, again she is too weak and he has no right to fight. Sally returns without Wufei, the Gundam is still at Sally’s base. They are again attacked by mobile suits this time Wufei is not around to help them. The attackers find out the Gundam is not being piloted and find the fight to be an easy one. OZ shows up and starts attacking the group that is attacking Sally. Wufei shows up and is plead to by a dying soldier to defeat OZ. He is then saved by another one of Sally’s men when he gets in the line of fire. Wufei once again saves Sally and pilots his Gundam even though he still believes he has no right to. Wufei does not understand Sally and why she fights while being so weak. Trowa learns that his circus will be performing for an OZ base. Trowa plans to detonate his Gundam at this performance. This is only hinted at but it is very blunt that this is what he plans by how he talks about it with Heero.
Zechs is continuing his tests on Tallgeese. It passes without and problems other than being a strain on Zechs but he conquers the suit. Alex (Red Cancer) and Muller (Blue Angel) conquer a base with only two OZ mobile suits. The two then want supplies and troops from Noin. Zechs has the battle data analyzed from his battle with Heero; the computer says Heero is not human. Zechs will help the two in battle as a subordinate in the Tallgeese. The battle begins; Zechs takes on the main cannon, which does nothing to Tallgeese. Zechs is truly pissed off at the way Alex and Muller and their conduct in war. They turn against him in mid-battle. Zechs degrades him as a student of Noin’s. They are not very smart but they are very skilled. Trowa takes advantage of the show and spies on OZ. Trowa starts the show in him mobile suit. He shoots down the carrier that he was watching. He plans only to live long enough to complete his mission. Catherine is again in shock and realizes that he wants to die. He warns her to get away because he is going to self detonate. Incoming OZ fire would have killed her if he hadn’t gotten in the way, a lot like what Heero did for Relena. Catherine gets into the cockpit and gives him a good bitch slap; he rubbed it (wimp). Heero and Trowa leave.
Trowa opens with telling Heero to take better care of his body. Heero starts his apologies in finding Sylvia Noverta. Noin explains the need for the mobile suits to Relena. Noin also tells her that in the nest room are the people responsible for Dorlain’s death and the destruction of the Sanku kingdom. In the conference Relena quietly shares her disagreement with the opinions to Noin. Relena takes the stage; Noin is a bad baby sitter. Noin convinces her that talking to them now will do nothing. As Relena leaves Treize catches a look in her eyes. He sees Heero self destructing his Gundam in them. He sense they are connected to each other somehow. After Relena leaves Zechs becomes the topic of discussion. The new plan to give to Zechs is to destroy the Gundam. Zechs learns Heero’s name through Noin’s conversations with Relena. Sylvia has trouble leaving the memories of her grandfather. OZ starts their attack on the town. Sylvia is ordered to leave for a safe place by one of the Alliance soldiers. Trowa and Heero appear in town. Heero doesn’t want to fight he would only be in the way with his arm in its current condition. He leaves and almost runs over the girl he wanted to apologize to. The Alliance finds the Gundam as it tries to defeat the OZ attack. Trowa returns to find the Alliance defending the suit. Trowa gets rid of the immediate suits quickly to keep his suit secret. Heero offers a gun to Sylvia and reveals to her that he was the one that killed him. She takes the gun as Heero continues his cowardly apology. Sylvia will not accept his request for death. Zechs destroys Wing Zero for OZ. The Gundam is in actuality safe and Tallgeese is lacking a few spare parts.
Heero has finished his quest to put his life in the victim’s family. Trowa is protective of Heero with him in his weakened state. He starts a chase with a motorcycle and escapes into the city. Noin finds them and offers her carrier. Trowa pulls a gun without a moments hesitation. Noin gives them the message that Zechs wants to meet and duel with them. Trowa offers his Gundam for Heero to use. Relena still doesn’t know if Heero is still alive and is trying to find information on him. She finds that the Gundam might not be destroyed as they originally thought. Zechs continues his repairs on Wing Zero and thanks Noin again for her help. Treize is debating whether Zechs has been given too much freedom. He decides that it is just too much worry in OZ. Heero is in the carrier trying to get used to Trowa’s Gundam. He has a hard time lifting the left arm due to his injury. Relena is forwarded a letter from Mrs. Noverta to give to Heero. It is a letter of consolation and forgiveness for him. Noin notices Heero’s injury when he puts on the heavy winter coat. Zechs wants Wing Zero restored to the original condition to see how good Heero was. Noin is informed that they are being followed. Noin is in one of the Aries that is dropped to keep the followers at a distance. She finds herself seriously outnumbered. Noin surrenders to Romefeller but is saved by her disobedient troops. Trowa goes out in Heavyarms to correct the mistake of coming back. He runs out of ammo during the fight but will not stop until they are all destroyed. He kills inspector Acht in this battle. Trowa focuses on Heero upcoming battle instead of his own health. Clutching his wrist he gets out of his Gundam.
Heero and Trowa continue their journey with Noin to Zechs’s base. “So, OZ does have one elite officer,” remarks Trowa about Noin’s strategy. Heero is slightly offended at Zechs’s question of if Heero Yuy was his real name. Heero meets Wing again. Noin encourages Heero to thank Zechs. He now shakes Zechs’s hand explaining that he has never shaken hands with anyone before. Noin has the feeling that neither of them should die now. Relena is looking for Zechs and Noin. She first goes to the Victoria base but finds no answers. Pagan gets a call and they head to Antarctica. Zechs partially answers Noin’s concerns with OZ and this battle. Zechs asks her to keep the battle undisturbed. Heero chooses to use Trowa’s suit after he finds that the self-detonation switch is disconnected. He says it is all the generosity that is clouding his thoughts. Zechs knows the true reason he won’t use his own Gundam. Heero is still nursing his arm as he adjusts Trowa’s Gundam. Trowa knows that the left arm will be very heavy with Heero’s injury. Almost as soon as the battle starts his arm starts to bleed again. Heero struggles with the new Gundam but puts up a good fight to start with. The battle has gone on for three hours. Trowa thinks it too long for a meaningless battle. Trowa goes off to make sure there are no interruptions so that this fight will end as fast as it can. Heero is out of bullets. He drops the arm and finds the beam saber in the arm. He thanks Trowa for going out of his way for him. Relena is on her way and is almost shot down. Trowa is in Wing and shoots down the Aries that were after her. He lets her pass when she tells him her goal. Relena calls out to Heero from her plane and tells him she has a message for him. Zechs begs her to leave the battle. Noin admits that she deserves her contempt. She calls for Heero to win and kill Zechs. Noin reveals that Zechs is her brother and should not wish his death. Relena realizes that Noin loves Zechs. OZ has found them and is coming in full force. Trowa comes to the battle and tells them of the approaching force. Zechs leaves to face them all and promises to meet Heero again. Zechs tells Noin to leave and take Relena with her.
Lady Une is in the colonies in her peace mode. She has the mobile suits return to OZ. Une is in the colonies trying to get the colonies to support OZ as being a totally different organization than the Earth Sphere Alliance. Duo and Quatre watch the news of what OZ is doing in the colonies. Quatre suggests that it is time to return to space and Duo adds unnoticed. Quatre thinks that attention would be good as a way to try to flush out OZ. The colonies argue about OZ’s intentions. Une goes quickly back to the normal Une and heads back to OZ. The captured scientist made the Deathscythe, he claims it the best of the Gundams. Quatre and Duo fight OZ; Quatre hopes that it draws the other Gundams back into space. The colonies feel that the Gundams are now a nuisance to them. Duo checks that they made the news all over the world, he finds out that the colonies have abandoned them and now see them as enemies. Quatre and Duo are both down and will not give up. Wufei shows up and confirms that they are right to fight this battle. The other Gundams are now also in battle in other areas. Une is almost through with her mission to capture all the scientists that assembled the Gundams. The colony fights back on her attempt to capture the last of the scientists. Doctor J is the last to surrender to OZ. Quatre stays behind to destroy the rest of the suits so that Wufei and Duo can safely make it into space. Wufei accepts this and Duo claims he is a fool. Quatre plans to self detonate. Sandrock lets Quatre off and self detonates on its own. Quatre escapes but not without being mortally wounded. Doctor J is reunited with the other scientists after fifteen years since the plan of the Gundams. All of the Gundams make it into space when Lady Une is at her weakest.
Une finds out that the engineers all disappeared after the blueprints of Tallgeese were completed. Une plans to make a suit more powerful than the Tallgeese. Zechs tells Treize that he will no longer fight the Gundams. Treize comes to the conclusion that if Zechs dies in battle he will die honorably. Treize shows how weak the dolls are and points out that battles are meaningless unless people still are in them. The Alliance tries to protect the Gundam pilot from OZ. Nichol tells Une of this attack. Doctor J saves Quatre but in the process has made a deal to build a better mobile suit than the Gundams for OZ. Quatre is saved by the Alliance. Nichol is ordered to destroy the shuttle. One of the Alliance members was on board when Nichol destroyed it. Zechs is ready for the oncoming attack planned by Treize. Fifty Aries and twenty Cancers were sent to kill Zechs and the Tallgeese. Oz made yet another underestimation. Zechs’s mask breaks. His mask symbolized his friendship with Treize. Duo has a band-aid on his nose. Duo and Wufei are resting for now in little pods like what they came to earth in. Trowa is working on hacking his way into OZ. Heero is back in school and his introductory speech in not well taken by the teacher or the class. Heero has enrolled as Duo Maxwell.
Zechs awakes surprised to be alive. Howard greets him right after he awakes. He shares his relation to the Tallgeese. Zechs claims that him as Zechs is dead. Howard informs Zechs that he is needed to fight in space. Instead of force OZ gave to colonies the peaceful and sweet voice of Lady Une. OZ claims to protect the colonies from wars. Lady Une is ordered to return to barge by Treize. Lady Une captures the Gundam pilot as a scapegoat for OZ. Duo is onboard and will not be easily caught. Duo however is not ready for the speed of the new Taurus models but will die fighting. Deathscythe is seriously damaged. Duo tries to self detonate, unsuccessfully. Not wanting to copy Heero he invited them all to join him on his trip to hell. OZ captures Duo. Trowa sees this and finds that Heero is on the colony near where Duo is. OZ has deleted the files on Heero Yuy’s assassination. His strategy is that all negative factors must be deleted, even Duo in captivity. Duo is informed that he will be executed. Heero saves the wounded Duo instead of killing him like he originally intended. Heero helps Duo out like how Duo helped Heero after their escape form the hospital. OZ sends the dolls after them. Wufei starts to attack barge, Une is advised to leave the area. He knows that OZ is a lot stronger than they are attacking him now and hopes for them to show all their strength. He is shocked that OZ sacrifices their own men. Une starts on her peace sermon but her troops still attack Wufei. Heero continues to develop the escape plan and causes havoc with the dolls. They have the Leos attack the dolls as well as the space suit. The dolls them go with the auto attack plans and destroy OZ soldiers. Heero continues with his seek and destroy plans, next target the Gundam scientists. Zechs leaves again for space.
Heero tells Duo about the activities at the Lunar base but asks Duo to stay so that he won’t be in the way. He suggests that Duo rest, and go to school. The scientists intend to make a suit that will keep OZ occupied for a longer period of time to keep them busy. They intend to have OZ destroyed with their own weapons. The colonists are resistant to OZ’s suggestion that they join and primarily produce mobile suits. Une works her Saint Une magic and sways the colonists to follow what OZ wants. Sally Po finds Sandrock and attempts to destroy it. The Manganacs find it at the same time. Sally detonates when they demand the Gundam. The explosives don’t even dent it. Sally is admired by the Manganacs for her determination. The Manganacs steal the Gundam into a carrier under heavy fire from OZ. Their original plan was to wait until OZ rebuilt it for them. Sally stops them from taking off. After discussion Sally allows the Manganacs to take the Gundam. Sally leaves to find “what the next great kid left behind.” Duo is walking the streets as a newscast is broadcast in the center of town. The nest test of the new mobile suits is being broadcast. OZ is recruiting pilots. Trowa is the only pilot left at the end of the test. Une believes that Trowa just has natural talents in battle. Trowa’s last test is to completely destroy Deathscythe. Trowa pauses, and then asks for a beam cannon. Duo watches in anguish as Deathscythe is destroyed, almost completely. Trowa has tears in his eyes. Heero hacks into OZ’s computer and finds where he needs to go to destroy the new mobile suits. Trowa meets with Une. Nichol is very suspicious of Trowa. Trowa divulges his view on what OZ does and it puts Saint Une to tears. The Mercurius is at eighty percent, and Vayeate at fifty percent completion. Doctor J initiates a test of the shield on the Mercurius. The Vayeate starts to move. Its blast is successfully deflected by Mercurius. As Heero exits the suit, Trowa stops his escape.
Quatre is found in space very badly hurt. He wakes up in a hospital that is located in a neutral zone. Trowa offers his advise on the Tallgeese to Lady Une. The captured Heero is to help Trowa destroy the Tallgeese. Heero and Trowa discuss how to destroy a mobile doll. Heero starts to get carried away and is warned by Trowa that he would have to destroy Heero to keep up appearances if he continued. Zechs takes care of the remaining mobile dolls and improves his reaction time doing so. Heero and Trowa also take care of a few intentionally as they miss Zechs. Zechs surrenders to Trowa and Heero. His new story is that he is a good will ambassador, Milliardo Peacecraft. Master Winner is a major force in his home colony. He receives news that Quatre has returned home. Quatre gets a lecture on how his choice on being a Gundam pilot is a bad one. Quatre’s sister reveals that his father still worries and cares. Quatre learns of Duo’s capture and the fate of his Gundam. The colony starts to go against Master Winner and want to start to arm themselves. Quatre tries to rescue him. He swears revenge on the colonies. He has a moment of crazed laughter.
Lady Une greets Milliardo, even though he comes in the Tallgeese. He introduces himself as being from the Sanku kingdom. Septum’s son, Günter, is far more levelheaded and reasonable than his father. Dermail complements Treize on his success on uniting the colonies with OZ. Tubarov is heading off to space to further their military strength. Une and Treize discuss how mobile dolls should be used in battle. Treize offers that people will never stop fighting. Treize confesses he is not as strong as she thinks he is. He wants the other Lady Une to return to him. Milliardo is discussing peace, colonies, and earth. Une claims that peace will never come to space unless Treize comes to space. Towa points out civilians when OZ soldiers want to destroy a colony that Zechs is on, Nichol doesn’t care. Nichol thinks Trowa thinks too much for his rank. Une is in this fight so is Zechs. Treize asks Zechs to understand him and to save the split personalitied Lady Une. Trowa stops the main attack of Barge’s cannon. Une is brought back to Barge. Wufei in space meets Tubarov; his mission is to destroy Tubarov. Wufei is out of fuel and Tubarov captures the Gundam like Wufei wanted.
Sally finds the Wing Gundam underwater where Heero hid it. OZ is right there when she finds it. Sally doesn’t know that is wasn’t Heero that put it there. Duo and Wufei’s Gundams are on the Lunar base. OZ discusses the Sally Po problem with Milliardo. He is also told that the engineers have been executed. Duo meets Hirde and is critical of her being with OZ. She invites him to join and tryout for OZ. Heero and Wufei are being transported together as Trowa tries to discover OZ’s motives by hacking their computers. Duo escapes the colony in a Leo; Hirde gives chase and claims that he will kill him. They both claim to be fighting for the peace of the colonies. Duo won’t fight back but does protect her from OZ’s misfire. Hirde was surprised by the fact that Duo is a Gundam pilot. She is confused about why Duo doesn’t see her as an enemy. Duo does get a free ride to the Lunar base. Duo easily escapes Hirde and attempts to destroy the base on his own. Mobile dolls meet him; in the Leo’s current condition he is no match. Hirde comes to his aide. Duo warns her not to die in vain if she chooses to die. Duo never seems to be able to make a quite entrance. He finds the engineers and is offered a chance to pilot one of the new suits. The engineers to keep the secret then rough him up. Duo gets thrown in with Heero and Wufei. “Just watch me, I’ll become the god of death once again. But right now I need some sleep.”
Quatre returns in Zero. He attacks the new OZ satellite and destroys it. Tubarov tells Une that the Gundam pilots should be destroyed since they have served their purpose. Une and Tubarov are informed of the new Gundam. Trowa and Heero are sent out after this new Gundam. Tubarov disagrees with her choice but sends out the order. Quatre sends out a threat that he will destroy a colony. Trowa shoots down Duo for coming instead of Heero. Trowa gives Duo a good punch in the gut passing on information. Wufei thinks that Trowa has betrayed them. Duo reveals the little gift passed by Trowa in the punch from Master O. Heero brings up that they are in OZ suits and might have to battle Quatre. Quatre gives the colony a final evacuation warning. The colony fires at him in response. Quatre quickly destroys the colonies mobile suit defense. He fires on the colony, a shot that destroys the colony. He has tears in his eyes but is not sad. Heero senses that something is not right with Quatre. Duo and Wufei discuss Quatre. Wufei also has a bad feeling on Quatre. Tubarov turns off the air supply to the prison. This also cuts off the air to the engineers. Wufei offers Duo the advice to stay calm if he wants to live longer. Duo complains that this is not a very cool way to be dieing. Quatre is inside the colony and decides that the colonies need a war. Quatre comes out and destroys all but Heero and Quatre. Quatre warns them to stay away. He fires on Trowa when he gets closer. Quatre will destroy it all to obtain peace. He then fires on Heero and misses. Heero vows to kill him with his new set of ideals.
Quatre and Heero fight. Heero’s suit is not as strong as Zero and he depends heavily on the shields. Heero won’t leave and Quatre does not want to kill him. The colonies have sided with OZ so Quatre sees it as an enemy. Une is unable to communicate with the Lunar base. The engineers and pilots start to pass out. Trowa sacrifices himself to save Heero and the colony. Heero goes after Quatre instead of helping Trowa. Trowa tries to save Quatre’s sanity before the Vayeate explodes. Heero blames Trowa’s death on Quatre. Quatre tells Heero to hurry up and kill him so Heero can save Trowa. The Vayeate explodes and Trowa is thrown into space. Dermail presents the news to Romefeller on the colonies cooperation with OZ. He depends on Treize but Treize tells him that he cannot support the path Romefeller has taken with the dolls. Treize presents his views on the best warriors, the Gundam pilots. He admires their will to continue fighting even though the colonies have stopped supporting them. Treize is confined to the Romefeller headquarters. Une is headed to the Lunar base to stop Tubarov. She is starting to understand why Treize dislikes the mobile dolls. Tubarov doesn’t understand Une and Treize’s views on the dolls. Une invades the Lunar base and heads to release the Gundam pilots. She restores the air supply and releases the pilots. Tubarov shoots her, proud of her life as a civilian and not an OZ soldier. Duo: Shall we escape? Wufei: After we pay them back. Wufei and Duo payback OZ with their Gundams only being seventy percent complete their fighting ability is limited. Quatre revives and cares for the fallen Heero.
Romefeller’s Operation Nova is one to destroy the group calling themselves the Treize Faction. The dolls destroy these soldiers quickly. By confining him it encourages the Faction to form. Quatre and Heero are captured. Quatre acts up and goes to Trowa’s Vayeate. Heero protects him from the OZ soldier’s fire by taking them out temporarily. Tubarov wants Zero destroyed, it poses a threat to the mobile doll program. Quatre is tested on the effects of the Zero system on his mind. Une’s condition is unknown. Heero is updated on Duo and Wufei and is informed that Trowa is as good as dead if he isn’t already. Quatre and Heero are told by the engineers that they must become the perfect soldier mentally or the war will make them go insane. Quatre reveals that he is confused about who his enemies are. Quatre thinks the Gundam is a mistake. Heero gets confused about his enemies while in Zero. His enemies are the ones after his life and the ones that toy with his life. The engineers walk off during a moment of confusion. Quatre climbs into the Mercurius. He believes that this war will never end if people keep trying to fight it themselves. Heero snaps out of it and pukes. He falls from Zero. He sees a vision of Relena, someone to live for. Quatre senses his longing for someone on Earth. Quatre helps Heero away from the self-detonating Mercurius. The engineers and Zero survive the blast.
Relena is looking for Heero still, missing her father. She remembers when she first meets Heero. She admits to being ignorant of the outside world and giving nothing back to it until she met Heero. Heero explains his only mission was to destroy OZ and introduces the other pilots and their respective Gundams. Heero doesn’t consider them comrades, only obstacles like Relena. She knows it was Treize that tricked the pilots into killing Noverta. Daybreak was OZ’s plan to overthrow the Alliance in one day. Une’s plans to move the Taurus suits all at once was a plan to lure the Gundams and destroy them. This is were Zechs and Heero first meet. Heero refuses Zechs’s charity of the Gundam repairs and use Heavyarms in their duel in Antarctica. Trowa takes Heero’s mobile suit and warns them about the oncoming OZ attack. Relena has seen neither her brother nor Heero since that fight.
Treize explains his views on the Gundams. He admires Wufei’s strength and dignity. He believes Zechs shares this in freeing the Sanku kingdom. Treize leaves space to Une. Une’s mission in space was to make the colonies independent. She explains the new views of the pilots. The colonies had turned their backs on them. Treize arrives at his new home. He believes that without Zechs being their Romefeller will continue their automation of battle. Zechs knew that space would be the place of countless battles with its new alliance with OZ. Treize admits that Une was right all along. He believes it is natural to continue fighting. Ignoring war will achieve nothing. The pilots changed him. He wonders what they think of the current times. Une believes that they must continue to fight, without fighting nothing can be created. The Gundams have a strong will and purity in his eyes. Une vows to look over those who shine on the battlefield. Treize wishes Lady Une to rest in peace. Heero and Quatre are back on Earth. The third act is ready for the curtain to rise. Epyon waits.
Relena joins talks of peace. Peace lies in learning from the past. She asks for assistance to the Sanku kingdom and peace. Romefeller is not necessarily disliked just they should rectify their mistakes quickly before more lives are lost. Heero and Quatre are at a Romefeller camp. Heero points out that the dogs would rather be playing with Quatre, they sense his kindness. He tells Quatre that kindness is for every other time in life other than in battle. OZ finds Sally, she plunges her carrier into the sea to avoid giving up Wing to them. OZ captures Sally, she is charged as an ally of the Gundams. Noin plants a few explosions and saves Sally. Noin is rebelling against Romefeller in the name of the Sanku kingdom but can’t place the violence in a peace-orientated kingdom. Sally confesses to Noin that she wishes to follow the pilots. She believes they are on the right track. Romefeller finds the Sanku kingdom to be a problematic nation. Heero and Quatre escape during the night. Quatre and Heero attack OZ, at the same time Sally and Noin battle to reclaim Wing. Quatre again shows kindness in battle Heero points out that he would have already opened fire if he were in Quatre’s position. Noin now has Wing; Sally goes to look for another Gundam and the pilots. Enter Dorothy Catalonia. Pagan asks how Relena feels about the new student from Romefeller. Dorothy and Relena exchange views on war, peace, and its consequences. Pagan tells Noin about Dorothy and her personality. Noin arrives in the Sanku kingdom and hides the Gundam. She vows to protect Relena even if it means she will have to live in the shadows.
Heero in his urge to continue fighting takes part in a battle within OZ. Dorothy also has an interest in Heero and Quatre. Quatre finds that there are people out for total pacifism when he visits a small town near the battle. Quatre helps the battered shopkeeper after the OZ soldiers have left. The battle starts to enter the town. Quatre begs Heero to stop this meaningless battle. Heero even notices that the civilians had not been evacuated from this town. Heero retreats. Relena teaches her family’s views and is countered by Dorothy’s beliefs of war. Dorothy predicts that Heero and Quatre will be coming to protect her. Quatre meets back up with the shopkeeper who is getting ready to leave. He learns more about the Sanku kingdom from him. Relena has faith in that Dorothy will change her views. Relena learns that Noin has found Heero from Pagan. Heero meets the new dolls on the battlefield. Quatre hijacks an Aries suit. Heero vows to fight longer than anyone on earth, even longer than Relena. Quatre finds Heero and tells him they can’t die now; they must protect the Sanku kingdom. Noin arrives and leaves the beam cannon from Wing to Heero and Quatre. Heero and Quatre arrive with Relena waiting.
Heero and Quatre enroll in Relena’s school. They are the only boys and get a lot of attention, especially from Dorothy. Relena informs Heero and Quatre that she has personally taken on the search for Trowa. Heero goes out and helps the Treize faction hiding out in the Sanku kingdom as a way of repaying the favor. Relena knows that a battle has started and with Dorothy heads to the battle. Heero once again saves Relena this time from a falling plane. Noin and Quatre also help the fight in Noin’s white Taurus suits. After the battle Noin confesses to Relena about the small army and is willing to take any punishment. Heero gives Relena the advice to gather a small force to protect the nation and to follow what Noin is trying to do. Heero, his debt repaid, goes off to fight another battle.
The God of Death is back from hell is Duo’s first line of the episode. He is still fixing his Gundam. Operation Virgo is hindered by this attack by Duo. Tubarov is slightly annoyed to say the least. Zero is being tested Trant Clark who has realized the flaw of the mind when in the system. Zero wins in this simulation. Trant Clark wonders if the pilots were hallucinating too. Duo trades OZ suit parts for ammo. Hirde finds Duo again, this time as an ally. Trant Clark goes in search of a Gundam pilot. Duo is salvaging for parts as Hirde runs up to tell him she hasn’t found any information on OZ’s plans. Trant Clark drops in right in front of the house he was at, he demands Duo go with him. Trant has Duo pinned into cooperating. If he runs the dolls attack the colony. Duo too starts to hallucinate in Zero. He no longer sees the colony and fires the beam cannon at one in line with it. Hirde is affected by the blast. Duo regains control and has no idea what he just did. He has no idea how he could have done the damage to the colony. Tubarov’s forces arrive and want Zero surrendered. Trant throws Duo out and takes off. Trant tries to take the suit to its limit. Duo goes off to stop him. Duo meets up with Trant. Duo finds that Zero is a very fast and strong suit. Zero claims Trant’s life. Duo believes the suit is too much for a human to handle, if someone could he would be superior to the race.
Noin complements Quatre on his piano skills. He still blames himself for what happened to Trowa. Quatre believes that they can conquer the dolls with the Gundams but the battles will not stop with that. Zechs attacks the carriers of Operation Nova. They send out the left over dolls after him. Tallgeese quickly destroys all of the dolls and carriers. He complains that the Tallgeese is less responsive. Howard explains that it is not the suit; Zechs has just become more responsive than Tallgeese. Howard on the Peacemillion is helping Zechs with the Tallgeese. Zechs asks for Relena’s forgiveness for continuing to live as Zechs Marquise. Dermail and Tubarov discuss the Sanku kingdom problem and decide now is the time to destroy it. Relena asks Heero why this time he stays. Before he can answer Dorothy interrupts with an invitation from Romefeller. Dorothy is Relena’s escort for the conference. Before she goes she has Heero promise her that he will not leave without telling her first. As soon as the car leaves Heero prepares to leave for battle. Heero tells Quatre that he can’t afford to be killed in this stage of the game until he finds Trowa. Noin pops in as soon as Heero leaves. Zechs is also heading to Luxemburg to defend a place he once destroyed. Relena defends the Sanku kingdom’s ideals to Romefeller. It seems she has stirred nobody until Dermail claps. Dermail mentions Milliardo has been attacking OZ and he has been associated with the Sanku kingdom. Relena points out that Milliardo is he brother, not Zechs. She excuses herself from the meeting. Dorothy is proud of her performance. Dorothy reveals that she believe the same as Treize when is comes to the mobile dolls. Zechs has done all he can in space for Luxemburg. Heero is on the ground destroying what Zechs left. Quatre tells Noin that he will protect Relena in Heero behalf. Mobile dolls attack Relena’s car. Quatre and Noin show up and destroy the dolls. Pagan is taken to the hospital. Relena figures out that she can only talk and not help others. Quatre tells her not to start thinking that way. Wing is damaged in the fight. Treize tells Heero not to die yet or any of the other pilots.
Heero gets back up and continues to fight the dolls. He again sees a vision of Relena that gives him strength. A fallen Treize faction soldier pleads for Heero to protect Treize with his dying words. Dermail is not happy about Luxemburg and the disruption of Treize. He believes that Treize and the pilots should not meet. Heero finds Treize underground. Heero won’t kill Treize without an explanation on why he let him in. Treize asks Heero who his enemy is. Heero tells Treize that they are the ones after his life. Treize tells him his battle will never end if he believes that. He claims Relena is a much stronger person. Treize and Heero stand apart guns drawn discussing whose battle has ended. Treize reveals Epyon to Heero as a guide on how to live. OZ has found Zero and has been placing explosives on it. Zechs is also close he approaches in the Tallgeese. He abandons it for the more advanced Zero. OZ underestimated Zero. The explosives did nothing to it. Howard believes that a perfect warrior like Zechs should have no trouble with Zero. Treize explains to Heero that Epyon will show him his future. Epyon showed Treize had no future. His deal with Heero is that if Epyon showed Heero no future to they would end each other. Heero goes back into battle with Epyon. Heero while in battle gets confused on who his enemy is and discovers that Epyon is the same as Zero. He finally decides that anyone who fights is his enemy. Epyon shows Heero his future or his death. After battle Treize hands Heero a gun just as Heero looses consciousness.
Trowa was recovered from space. Cathy finds him on the colony and realizes he has lost his memory. Wufei is back at home. Long Shirin tells Wufei that he must find the strength within himself through integrity. OZ comes after Wufei in the colony. Nataku has been upgraded to be the Auto-Long Gundam. OZ threatens the colony if Wufei does not surrender. Master Long has the colony self-destruct to help Wufei. Long Shirin tells Wufei if he wavers he will lose. In anguish Wufei destroys the OZ troops. He claims he will now determine integrity. Howard detects the battle and Zechs suggests that they ask Wufei to join them. Quatre is traveling through the desert back to Sandrock to help protect the Sanku kingdom. On his trip back to Sandrock he is shoot down by OZ for entering a war zone, which is why he is walking. Relena continues her talks of peace with former supporters of Romefeller. Pagan points out to Relena that since Treize was stripped from power Romefeller has had no unity. Heero tells Noin that an increase in military power would attract Romefeller to attack the Sanku kingdom. Noin is trying to get help from the Treize faction and the former Earth Alliance. Heero tells Noin he doesn’t see the use in protecting this country. Heero is also baffled as to why Treize gave him Epyon. Wufei is tired of fighting dolls. The Peacemillion finds Wufei. Zechs is in Zero wanting to talk to Wufei. Zechs does not want to fight but Wufei sees him as an enemy and a member of OZ. Wufei still won’t trust Zechs even after he straightens out the facts. Zero starts to play its tricks on Zechs. Wufei leaves after Zechs realizes that he fired on Peacemillion. Trowa is back in the circus now calling Cathy a sister. They plan to move on since a Gundam had been sighted near there. Trowa goes into mild shock when he tries to remember. Catherine promises to protect him no matter what.
Duo sits in on undergrounds plots on how to achieve peace. Dissatisfied with their progress in the plan he left to find Hirde. When discussing how it went Duo slips out a doubt of ever attaining peace. Hirde then drags him to something fun, a circus. Duo recognizes Trowa as soon as he enters the ring. After the show he asks Trowa where Heero is. Catherine stops him and tells Duo Trowa won’t fight again. Quatre reaches the Maganacs and defeats OZ soon after reaching Sandrock. He and the Maganacs go to help the Sanku kingdom. Noin has already started fighting without the help of Quatre. Heero is off in the mountains fighting. Before he even started to fight he could tell that Epyon was going to act up and he couldn’t afford that near the city. Even with the help of Quatre, the Maganacs, and Heero the Sanku kingdom collapses. Relena instead of asking for military help surrenders the kingdom to Romefeller. She leaves with Dorothy to face her new fate. Heero continues to fight until he runs out of enemies.
Zechs rushes to the Sanku kingdom hoping he is not too late. Heero is still looking for his enemy. Zechs arrives just as Heero destroys what is left of OZ. He takes Zechs as an enemy. Zechs and Heero duel. Zechs is not sure if Heero is an enemy. He asks answers of Heero and he just tells him to ask Zero. He finds he is too late to save the Sanku kingdom. Relena is at Romefeller where she meets Dermail. He informs her he is protecting her not imprisoning her. Her announcement of peace and surrender won her a position in Romefeller. Dermail offers her to be queen of the world. She doesn’t want the job. Dermail gets angry and uses dirty tricks to get her to agree. The Zero System would not let Heero and Zechs destroy each other. They both come out shaking. Former Treize faction turned revolutionaries captures Tubarov. The Atriums Revolution has started. White Fang is now in formation. Their first announcement is that people have to take orders from no one. Duo believes Quinze is an idiot for this move. Tubarov escapes but not before getting shot. He sends out the dolls to destroy the revolutionaries. Wufei shows up and destroys the dolls and the revolutionaries. Tubarov dies believing his dolls would conquer all. As the room bursts into flame he claims he is invincible. Wufei vows to be true to his own integrity. Heero and Zechs agree that their Gundams played them. They switch Gundams. Heero does this in the thought that Zechs would understand the way Treize thinks better than he could. Relena accepts Dermail’s offer.
Wufei fights to end the senseless battles in space. Noin is in space to gain his help. She goes in with her white Taurus and takes out a cannon on the ship that he neglected notice. “So you’re that woman” is Wufei’s response to Noin’s introduction to him as meeting him in the Lake Victoria Base. Wufei indirectly agrees to help but he again says he must choose his own path. Duo is still thinking of Trant Clark and Zero. Hirde tries to pull him out of his depression. Duo in looking for a job finds that Quatre is back in space. Quatre tells Duo that as far as anyone else knows he is dead. Quatre tells Duo his ideas that match that of the fallen Sanku kingdom. Quatre tells Duo of his mistake and that he will makeup for it with his dream of peace. Duo says, “A more dismal future would be more fitting for the god of death,” after Quatre shares this dream. “Well I better be going this place is just a little too high class for me,” as he leaves he mentions he has seen Trowa. Quatre finds Trowa at the circus. Catherine is a little violent in the way she talks to Quatre when she finds him trying to talk to Trowa. Quatre tries to tell her he only wanted to apologize for the mistake he made that Trowa paid for. Trowa knows he had met Quatre before but can’t remember. The fight between OZ and White Fang approaches the colony. Catherine save Trowa as the tent falls around them. Quatre tells them to hide because the battle is too close. Trowa tells Cathy that he will protect her. Quatre runs off to fight. Sandrock quickly destroys both sides of the battle. Trowa leave to help Quatre he fells he needs his help. Trowa faintly remembers the words of Heero to follow his emotions. He promises her he will come back alive. Trowa picks up Quatre and Sandrock. Relena makes her first declaration as queen; all national borders are to be dissolved because they are the cause of most wars. Treize sees the danger Relena is to Romefeller. Heero seems disappointed in her latest move.
Romefeller’s soldiers pack up and leave back to base. Zechs stays, his country gone. He finds he has no reason to fight. Quinze introduces himself to Zechs. He wants Zechs to go with them to outer space with his Gundam. The Gundam serves as a symbol of rebellion. Dermail talks about White Fang’s actions in space and Relena listens. Weridge points out the Dermail has no right to tell them what Romefeller’s plans with Relena right there. Dermail says he will step down from power as soon as the time is right until then he will keep his position. Weridge plans to make Relena a true leader of Romefeller and not just a puppet. Noin heads to Quatre’s family’s satellite to make Sandrock better equipped for space. Hirde comes back just in time to hear the final part of Duo’s conversation with White Fang members. They tell him that if he does not join him he would be an enemy. Duo tells Hirde he plans to leave the colony. Duo tells Hirde he just doesn’t trust White Fang, they seem too much like the early OZ. Duo leaves Hirde. OZ attacks Noin’s ship without warning. Trowa goes out in one of the Taurus suits to battle. OZ quickly realizes that they were not White Fang. Duo is floating in space near the battle in Deathscythe. Quatre goes into space to help Trowa; he quickly learns that Sandrock was not made for space battle. Duo awakes and from the darkness destroys the rest of the dolls. “Who knew I was such a nice guy. After all I’m here to help the guy that destroyed you Deathscythe.” Duo plans to fight with them so that the people won’t fight. Heero reveals that if Relena dies it would destroy this fake peace.
Howard believes that the earth us heading towards peace. Space still is in war with White Fang, OZ, Gundam pilots, colony resistance, and themselves. Howard believes that they should join up with the Gundams. Heero sees Relena as a figurehead providing a fake peace. Relena shares her plans with Weridge and Dermail. She wants them to withdraw Romefeller’s troops to obtain peace. Dermail finds that he is not fully backed by Romefeller anymore. Duo tells Noin that Wufei will do whatever he wants and they should give up on waiting for his help. Duo receives a message from Howard asking if they could join forces. Dermail expresses his frustrations over Relena to Dorothy. Relena was only to be a symbol; Dermail claims that Romefeller needs a military leader that is strong. Dorothy suggests that Dermail leave for space and gather his forces and wait for the next battle with White Fang. Dorothy brings the news to Relena that her greatest opposition will not be present at this meeting. Quinze can’t understand why a Gundam would be attacking his forces; they are both out for peace in the colonies. Heero gets ready to kill Relena during her declaration to Romefeller. Wufei continues his battle with White Fang. The response he gets is a blast from the beam cannon of Libra. Sedici believes that they destroyed the Gundam. Zechs points out that the Gundams now fight for Earth and that they are not yet showing the ideals of the colonies. Wufei is disappointed that White Fang would sacrifice the dolls so cheaply like how OZ did its soldiers. Some of Relena’s ideas stir Heero. She notices him in the balcony; she accepts what he wants to do. Heero is stunned by the applause of Romefeller. She looks up and Heero is gone. Heero will wait and see what she can do. Trowa asks if Howard has a spare Gundam and is sorry that he can’t remember where he put his. Howard reveals that he helped build Tallgeese. White Fang declares war on earth. Heero knows that Wufei has been used by White Fang as an excuse to declare war. Dermail is killed by White Fang as their first target and to prove they were serious. Zechs is revealed as the new leader of White Fang. Heero shows that of his futures he has chosen the one to kill Zechs.

Nichol brings Une back to Earth after Barge is destroyed. Une is in a coma. Treize explains how the world is now. He goes before Romefeller and tells them that people will not live in peace and they must all fight against White Fang. Relena goes back into space. Wufei in space destroys a battle between OZ and White Fang. Nataku is seriously damaged in the passive way Wufei attacked them. Libra is finally competed. Heero and Sally pickup Wufei in space. He is surprised that Sally is still fighting. Heero tells Wufei to use Zero to fight the mobile dolls that have come after him. He warns Wufei not to be disillusioned by the system. Zero shows him that the way for him to accomplish his goals is to join up with the other pilots. Zechs offers a way for peace. Eliminate Earth. “Zero showed me something quite amusing,” is Wufei’s answer to Heero on being back quickly. Dorothy introduces herself to Milliardo and her intent to help him. Relena believes she is the only one capable of stopping her brother.
Heero, Sally, and Wufei find the Peacemillion. The five pilots reunite. Noin is given a hard blow with Zechs changing opposite sides. Duo believes Heero is as far from normal as they come because he piloted Epyon and Zero. Wufei tells Trowa he should not return to the battlefield. OZ takes over the colony that Cathy is on. Heero believes that Zechs will allow the colony to be sacrificed. Dorothy points out that OZ taking over the colony puts all the people’s anger on OZ. He pilots find out that Libra is going to fire the main cannon. Trowa goes out to save Cathy. Heavyarms is not yet complete for space so he takes Zero. Howard tries to stop him before he leaves. Duo and Quatre go after him. Wufei admits to Sally that he is powerless until Nataku is repaired. Heero knows Zero will take care of the OZ soldiers. Treize condones the actions in space. Trowa defeats OZ in space but the Zero system has taken over. Quatre pulls him out of it like how Trowa has for him before. The Zero system helped Trowa regain his memories. Duo sneaks inside the colony and frees the civilians. Relena pleads for Milliardo not to fire on the colony. He warns her that if she doesn’t leave her life will be wasted. Heero realizes that the target was never the colony it was Earth. Libra had only minor malfunctions with its first shot. Zechs awaits the Gundams to come after Libra.
Relena faces Zechs. He wants Relena to remain kind and leave her peace for later. He offers her a home in space but will not keep her from returning to Earth. Dorothy takes Relena to the officer’s quarters. Zechs asks Quinze if he is a weak man, he says no. The pilots decide to destroy Libra but don’t know how to or even if they can. Heero stays out of this battle but the other four faces the White Fang. Heero only offers that he has to take care of something. Noin tries to keep them fighting together but they rather fight alone. The dolls have a new program installed. Heero is working on Zero in Peacemillion. Dorothy tries to convince Relena that it is useless to try to convince Milliardo is wrong. She offers a gun to Relena as a way to change his mind. Relena tell Dorothy that true peace cannot be achieved through assassination. In response she locks Relena in the room. Milliardo orders Libra to head towards Earth. The Gundams win this battle but with difficulty. They all realize that they will fall with continued attacks. Howard agrees to install the Zero system into Sandrock. Milliardo introduces Dorothy to the new system for the dolls based on Epyon’s. Heero tells Quatre about the system in Sandrock. Quatre is still scared of it Heero tells him that he won’t be there to fight with them. Mastering Zero system is a way for Quatre to repay the colonies. Heero goes to fight Epyon. Quatre tries to keep them together without the system. Wufei immediately flies off. The other then start to break off too. Dorothy in the system is finding ways to separate and destroy each of the Gundams. Quatre starts up the system and starts giving commands to each of them. Dorothy is caught off guard by the sudden organization. Quatre is now determined to master the system he can’t loose now. He realizes that the dolls are being controlled. Dorothy and Quatre both realize that they are controlling the moves. Dorothy orders Libra to fire on Peacemillion. Quinze and Milliardo both disagree with her decision. Peacemillion tries to dodge but is still damaged. Libra was also damaged from the shot. Heero tells Zechs Zero says he has no future, he wonders if Epyon tells him differently.
Duo finishes his Gundam’s repairs. Quatre tells Heero he can fight without Zero system. Heero agrees with Duo that it is a dangerous system. Treize is assembling his army in space. Hirde boards Libra in a transport carrier. She knows Duo will be mad at her but she will fight her own way. Milliardo tells Quinze to leave the Gundams alone for now but Quinze disagrees with this and has already sent dolls out for them. Hirde steals information on Libra. While there she meets Relena. Dorothy shows Relena the new Mercurius and Vayeate dolls with Heero and Trowa’s information. She leaves Relena to looks around. Dorothy also scolds Quinze on the use of mobile dolls on the Gundams. Hirde asks Relena to come with her. Relena tells her she still has things to do on Libra. Hirde makes her escape. Dorothy offers that the Mercurius and the Vayeate should be sent after her. Hirde realizes she can’t afford to get caught here. The Gundam pilots go out after the doll force that Quinze sent out. Howard tells them the engine has just been fixed and they should try not to wreck it again. The Mercurius and Vayeate are closing in on Hirde. Duo goes off to rescue her. Hirde’s suit is falling apart around her in the continued attack. She vows not to fall before she gets the data to Peacemillion. She tells Duo what is different about the dolls. Hirde is pretty beat up but she is still able to tell Duo about the disk. Duo doesn’t understand why she did it and calls her a fool. He mentions to Heero later that Hirde met Relena on Libra.
Treize takes Tallgeese II into battle. He claims a war without civility leads to massacre. The OZ mechanics can’t stand a job half done and complete Wing without Treize on Earth to pilot it. Heero goes after Relena. Wufei says, “In that case I was giving him too much credit. I had him figured as the most sane guy among the lot of us.” Trowa tells Wufei, “Wufei, if Heero does bring Relena back at least welcome her here. It is so easy to hurt a woman’s feelings.” Heero enters Libra in a transport unit causing a little chaos so he can get in. Zechs was waiting for Heero to come he wasn’t quiet ready for him to come this soon though. Heero finds Relena; he explains that Noin is uneasy with her here. Relena tells Heero, “Heero I must admit, you really are quite amazing.” Heero, “Look who’s talking.” Relena, “No Heero that’s not true, you’ve given me both hope and the strength to live. I’m sure you make others feel just the same.” Heero, “Don’t make me repeat it, I’m nothing compared to you.” He finds Zechs to cut the argument short. They enter the room to find Zechs at a desk with an image of the Earth behind him. Zechs does not believe this to be meaningless. The battle by nature must involve many people. He offers Heero the position to be the leader of White Fang since he is from the colonies or to join him. Dorothy tells of Quinze again for not waiting for Milliardo’s orders. The reason for this gross battle is to show how foolish fighting is to all mankind. The reason he took on the job is to complete his father’s ideals. Relena disagrees that this war will achieve the total pacifism. Zechs wants Relena to keep that attitude. Heero understands and they leave the hologram of Zechs. He last tells his sister to live through this. Milliardo is prepared to fire the main cannon to rid himself of his gentle nature. Treize halts his troops and heads out to Libra alone to challenge Zechs to a duel. Lady Une is missing from her hospital bed and Wing is also gone. Zechs refuses the duel. A duel is no way to determine the destiny of the colonies. Treize vows not to retreat because he loves the Earth behind him. Zechs orders to main cannon to be aimed at Treize. Dorothy tries to stop Zechs and is charged as a traitor. Zechs fires after a short struggle with Dorothy. Lady Une pushes Treize out of the way. Wing is almost completely destroyed by the blast. Lady Une tells Treize that she did it because one must fight the battle. Treize gives the order to destroy Libra.
The battle continues. Lady Une also realizes that this must be a battle that must be remembered forever. Heero and Relena are still on Libra. He wants Relena to stay with him on Libra so he won’t feel he owes Zechs something. Duo points out that Libra’s main cannon breaks down every time after they fire it. The Gundams decide to side with Treize, temporarily, to get rid of Libra. Dorothy finds it no surprise that the Gundams are still against them. Duo underestimates Zechs when he shows up with only three Virgos and Epyon. Treize knows that the Gundams are only fighting with him now because their goals are the same. Zechs keeps attacking Quatre, he realizes that he is the brain. The Gundams think Zechs is under the impression he is the easiest to pick off. Quinze starts Libra moving towards Earth. Treize goes in to help the Gundams with Zechs. Howard sends Peacemillion after Libra. All civilians are evacuated from Peacemillion so they can try to disable Libra’s main cannon. Zechs goes after Peacemillion. Noin gets in his way. She can’t bring herself to shoot him and Zechs can’t destroy her either. Peacemillion rams into Libra as a way to destroy the main cannon. Mission accomplished. Quinze is in a state of disbelief and defeat. Dorothy will not give up. Heero protected Relena during the impact and is wounded in the process. He has the "it’s just a flesh wound" attitude. Peacemillion is stable but Sally tells them the obvious, they aren’t going anywhere soon. Wufei breaks off to keep an old promise while the others go into Libra to destroy it from the inside. Quatre tells Noin it is ok for her to leave the battle. Heero orders Relena to leave here and follow Howard’s instructions. Duo finds the confinement area. He is expecting to find Heero but is surprised. Trowa finds White Fang soldiers. Quatre finds Dorothy and she shoots him. Duo has found the engineers and they helped build Libra and the new Mercurius and Vayeate. They built in the error of failure in the main cannon. Heero finds Zero. Noin asks Zechs to let her stay by his side. Zechs tells her to do as she wishes.
Dorothy’s shot misses Quatre. She thinks he is the most misguided of the pilots by far. Wufei destroys everything in his path to Treize. He finds him and they duel. Treize continues on his dolls are bad speeches. Wufei tells him to stop his speeches; too many have died for his battles. Trowa in Heavyarms clears out a few more dolls on Libra. Duo helps the engineers get to Peacemillion. They plan to stop Zechs by using Peacemillion to change the orbit of Libra. The collision of Libra with Earth would cause an everlasting winter. Heero bets Relena that Zechs hasn’t thought he has lost yet, he also believes neither Zechs nor Treize will let this war end. Heero pushes Relena away and goes to fight, to protect her, to protect earth, and to keep his promise. He tells Relena to believe in him, and that he will not die. As he leaves he says goodbye planning not to return from the battle. Dorothy fences with Quatre, him against the system in Epyon. Quatre asks why she is so attached to war. She doesn’t answer him until he answers it for himself. Dorothy points out that all his battles so far have been a waste of time. Howard and the other civilians head to the satellite MO-2. Heero tells Relena to forget about him. “Life is cheap, especially my life.” Duo and Trowa meet in passing, Duo heading back to Peacemillion and Trowa to find Quatre. Duo starts to regret ever finding the engineers while flying through the battlefield. Dorothy demands to know why Quatre is still holding back. Dorothy stabs Quatre in his side. She realizes that she is much kinder than Quatre inside. She is what Quatre once was. Quatre collapses. Treize asks why Wufei won’t use the dragon. He answers he wanted a fair fright. He believes Treize is fighting to satisfy his ego. He asks how many have died for him. Treize answers 99822. He asks Lady Une how many had died today and for their names later. Wufei kills Treize as he realizes that he was wrong. Lady Une gives the orders to declare defeat to the White Fang. Trowa tells Dorothy, “That’s sad, a woman who can’t cry,” when he finds them.
Zechs and Heero fight. Noin says Zechs considers this his grave. Lady Une orders the destruction of all remaining mobile dolls. Howard and the rest make it to MO-2. Duo gets the engineers to Peacemillion. Lady Une asks Relena to take revenge for her father’s death. Relena pushes the gun back and asks her to put the past behind them. Trowa works on destroying the battle system telling Dorothy that with each battle more of him dies but he must live because he has a home to go back to. Trowa helps Quatre up. Duo, “Ok when we’re done here we’ll celebrate with some expensive Champagne.” Quatre, “That sounds great as long as it’s nonalcoholic.” Lady Une gets Noin to send her images of the battle between Zechs and Heero. She passes them on to the people of the colonies to so the battle had no sense. Quinze finds the engineers and accuses them of causing noting but trouble. They changed the orders to the Gundams pilots, if they hadn’t the people of Earth would have realized this battle sooner. The engineers claim that they just had a higher respect for people and the Gundams alone were enough revenge for Heero Yuy. Peacemillion and Libra start to move away from Earth but a section has broken off. The colonies declare peace with earth and turn away from White Fang. The other Gundam pilots start to destroy the piece of Libra while Heero and Zechs continue to fight to the death. Zechs asks Heero, “Why won’t you kill me?” Heero tells him, “Relena would be sad.” Quatre is found by the Maganacs and lets them help him with MO-2. Zechs destroys the power system sacrificing himself so that the kind Heero can live. Heero positions himself to use his beam cannon. The other Gundams retreat to get out of his way. Zero starts to break up as it enters the atmosphere. Heero is determined to survive. He finally locks on and fires. Libra is destroyed and Heero made it. Heero, “mission complete.” Noin and Dorothy visit the graves of Treize and Dermail. Dorothy asks why she never pays respect to Milliardo’s grave. She knows he is still alive. Relena boards her ship and finds a bear with an invitation on it for a birthday party planed for her. She rips it up and tells Heero next time to hand it to her in person.
