Bunker 2
This is a blind we built on some property a friend of mine owns. It's on the edge of
a alpha field over looking another field thats sometimes planted in corn.
We constructed it over the coarse of about six weekends using mostly materials
we had laying around. The hardest part was setting the poles, and putting the roof
on, but it still went pretty well. We prefabed three of the walls and the roof.
Here we are getting the cable ready to raise the roof into place.
Getting the roof lined up.
Raising the roof, the other end of the cable is attached to my truck.
Taking a break after getting the roof up.
Windows are plexiglass mounted in slides and tinted
with automobile window tinting kit.
Finished product. The stairs are solid oak and came
of a barn that is almost two hundred years old.
