After a week of rain I was worried about this year's Blessing, but God was good and spared us the hardship of trying to hold our bikes up in the mud.

It may or may not be Father Fix's last sermon. He stated that the Bishop has transferred him but he will be here "if not to do the Blessing, to receive it"! On a sad note, there were 3 people involved in a very serious accident in Irons, MI. Will find more information and post here.

The Blessing was @ 1:30 again this year. Not as many bikes left before the Blessing this year. For the ones who did, if you were worried about a long wait to leave, you shouldn't. They have an excellent exit plan and it moves really fast.
