Il est fascinant de constater que les plus
grands esprits (???) du XIIIème siècle aient pu
consacrer talent et énergie à confirmer des
chimères pareilles. Il est attristant de
constater que ces esprits confus ont été
sanctifiés par l'Eglise.
Un exemple du déconnage cérébro-cordial de St Thomas d'Aquin :
"That Christ was conceived by the Holy Ghost
THOUGH every divine activity, whereby anything is
done in creatures, is common to the entire
Trinity, nevertheless the formation of the body
of Christ is appropriately attributed to the Holy
Ghost: for in Scripture every grace is wont to be
attributed to the Holy Ghost, since what is given
gratuitously is reckoned to be bestowed out of
the love of the giver;* and there is no greater
grace bestowed on man than his coming to be
united with God in union of person.* Still the
Holy Ghost cannot be called the father of Christ
in His human generation; because the Holy Ghost
did not produce the human nature of Christ out of
His own substance, but merely by an exertion of
His power.
En d'autres termes et pour être clair après tout ce
verbiage et cette mauvaise traduction anglaise,
une traduction plus lisible et très libre :
"....La formation du corps du Christ est justement
attribuée au Saint Esprit.. qui ne peut toutefois
être considéré comme le père du Christ.. dans la
mesure où il n'a pas produit les spermatozoides
nécessaires mais l'a créé par la seule force de
son esprit. "
Amen. Cette interprétation très libre n'est bien sûr
pas la position officielle du Vatican mais les
vues béates de St Augustin le sont toujours.
Mes frères, je suis né Chrétien, mais il y a des
jours où je voudrais être né Juif, Musulman ou
Boudhiste.
