There was a time I needed you...
At least I thought I did.
The doubts of being able to stand
alone were so prodigious!
I was saturated with fear.
Fear of the unknown,
Fear of failure,
Fear to stay,
Fear to depart.
Then I knew, that to stay
only meant to decay.
I could no longer remain just
an appendage of you.
Good or bad
Right or wrong...
I'm me.
Someday, I may share me
with someone..
But never to the extreme
of losing sight of me...
NOT AGAIN!!
