CHEESY CHICKEN
6 Chicken breasts
1/4 tsp salt - or to taste
1/4 tsp pepper - or to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder - or to taste
(if you don't have garlic powder you can use crushed garlic)
2 cans condensed Cream of Chicken soup
1 can condensed Cheddar Cheese soup
Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soup and pour over chicken in a crockpot. Cook on low all day (6 to 8 hours). Serve over rice or noodles.
TO DIE FOR CROCKPOT ROAST
1 beef roast, large enough to fit in your crockpot
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1 package brown gravy mix
1 package Italian dressing mix
cut up potatoes and/or carrots (if desired)
1/2 cup warm water
Place roast in crockpot. Mix all three envelopes and sprinkle on top of roast. Pour water in the bottom of the crockpot. Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours.
*Note: Can use half of seasoning packages without jeopardizing the taste. Also you can add more water at end for more gravy.
CROCKPOT BAKED BEANS
2 jars Northern Beans, drained
1/4 cup molasses
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1-1/2 cups water
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1-2 good squirts mustard
1 lb bacon, chopped
Mix all ingredients in crockpot. (all ingredients except for the beans can be mixed up night before, then add the beans before putting into crockpot). Cook on high 4 to 5 hours OR on low 8 to 10 hours.
My daughter-in-law, Linda gave me this recipe and I think these are the best baked beans I've ever had! ENJOY!
