I believe the Vice President should be questioned. Since he is a good friend of Mr. Scooter, it is quite possible that he knows some information about the wife being a CIA agent. Just because it is the Vice President does not mean he can't be questioned about an issue.

I believe that it is logical to question the Vice President, since he knows Mr. Scooter. Moreover, Mr. Scooter works for the Vice President. I am sure that the Vice President would be able to clear up some of the confusion.Besides, it is common for court cases to have a person or situation represented by witnesses or associates in contact with case or suspects.
