I agree that it's wrong and immoral, but it's not like we didn't see this coming. It's pretty ridiculous that this has to happen on top of every other thing that has been happening. We've got all the people from the hurricane who have to find places to go and start a new life, and now this problem will bring so many more problems to Americans.

I have to agree with Jordan and Karl that the budget plan shouldnt cut the unwealthy people benefits they get to help take care if themself with and cut some of the unnessary funds like the military.

The whole budget cutting to me is not neccessary. Why is there a need for cutting these programs money? Is it to get people off their butt and get a job that pays because if so then maybe that might work. On the other hand, many jobs are being taken away from the American people leaving them jobless. This is not the Americans people fault. Eventually all the money will be gone for no one to take away.

Karl, you make a good point. The rich is definitely trying to take unfair advantage of the poor so they can reign as supreme once again. It is base and evil what they are doing to us. Somebody should stop them.

Happy thanksgiving! Sitting here I just read on Cnn.com that Liberia has just elected their first ever Female president. My question is do you think that there will be a female elected to office in the United states in 2008, and if not then when if ever do you think that a female will become president? It is obvious that Hillary Clinton is the head on favorite of the Democrats, but who would run against her? As a Reoublican I don't know who we could get to run against her as a female? I don't think that Rice is a stong enough candidate.

Bush has finally crossed the line. He is turning the United States into a totalitarian country. He is a right-wing fanatic. The citizens of this country are going to end up spending only a dollar a day or less, like those citizens in China. Bush has to be removed from office right now!

This plan is absolutely base and evil. The government is treating the poor as if we were the proles in "1984". They are saying we are not human beings. They are the ones who are not human beings. We should overthrow the government if we are to survive.

This will be the worst thing that Bush has done yet. He is a bad President. And of course he would be greedy and avaricious to do something like this. This is not only grounds to remove Bush from office, but it is also grounds to overthrow the government.
