Wal-Mart
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Hot Topics
I was watching the daily show on Monday 28th at 11:00pm when Jon Stewart showed the crazy people in Wal-Mart. People were running all around acting crazy because they wanted to get their Christmas shopping done. There was this one woman who was being stepped on and in the process her wig fell off her head. She put her wig back on before she got back up. This is crazy to me that this was happening because of the Christmas time.

What are your thoughts about the whole Christmas shopping madness?

Now you know that this has very little to do with government, but anyways I have saw similar stories like the one on WZZM about the lady and the 13 year old that were stepped on. I think that there needs to be more control in stores. It is really crazy that people need those gifts that bad that they will do that to other people. To solve the little problem I think there needs to be security at stores this time of the year (that's were the government part comes in). Overall, It's just crazy and I’m glad I’m almost done.

The fact of the matter is that whenever you offer a notebook for 299 you know there is going to be trouble. Some people live for the day after thanksgiving. To some stores it results in 1/4 of their annual income. For the business point of view what is happening is a good thing. it is showing the eagerness of people wanting to shop. next watch, prices will be alittle higher because they know people are going to be willing to pay more. As for how the people are acting, it is people. The fact is that it is the fault of the people for people acting stupid.

christmas shopping is absolutely crazy. first of all, manufacturers purposely only send a limited amount of an item to each store, which is not right because they know exactly what is giong to happen by diong this. people also seriously don't need to go that crazy. they are forgetting the true meaning of christmas. christmas is supposed to be about sharing and celebrating, it' not supposed to be about who can get who the most stuff.

Christmas has lost its meaning if all you do is receive presents. It seems that society is morally bankrupt if they care so much about material items that they trample each other to get things first. It is sad to see what our world is coming to when people can’t even enjoy the true meaning of Christmas.

It just comes to show the lengths people will go for their family or for a good sale or maybe a toy or something that is very popular. If you thought that was as bad as it gets, then go shopping the day after Christmas when everything is on sale. People will be their craziest when it comes to shopping.(women inparticular)

It is utterly ridiculous how "adults" will act to save some money on Christmas presents. They have got to be kidding me. They will trample over each other to get a hokey pokey Elmo. There is nothing that your child needs for Christmas that is worth get trampled over. Adults act like this and then try to tell teenagers that they do not know how to act. It is crazy to think that they control us.

I also saw similar footage of eger Christmas shoppers being trampled. It's not worth sacraficing one's health to cash in on perhaps the biggest sale of the year! I was shocked to see such uncivilized behavior, and for what? The stampede of people reminded me of something off a movie. Shopping is pretty important for the Christmas season, but no comparison to the season its self.

Some people forget to shop for Christmas presents sometimes. That's why they often go to the store at the last minute. It is best that we are all prepared for Christmas and that we don't forget to buy presents.

I don't think that people should wait until the last minute. There are 365 days in a year. Use them when you can. That way. you won't get trampled over, you won't get injured, and people will be able to get things done in an organized manner.

People are acting mad because they need to buy Christmas presents for less money. Wal-Mart is neccessary when it comes to buying presnts especially when you're poor. It helps maintain equality.

The reason why everyone is acting crazy is because they are in Wal-Mart. Everyone can get things at low prices. They are trying to get as many things low-cost as they can before Christmas so there will be more presents and more fun.

I saw this one Christmas episode of "Mad TV" one time, and this one skit showed a woman who was freaking out about her family not being happy with the presents she got them, when they really were happy with them. There's a nut in all of us, and it is most likely to strike during Christmastime.
