Bush Finally reducing troops
Mood:  don't ask
Now Playing: BLEU BIRD
Topic: President Bush (43)
I read an artile on Aol News this morning (http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20051204151309990002&cid=931) Well anyways it said that Bush was supposed to be reducing the amount of troops in Iraq in 2006. Personally i think that this should have been done along time ago and I think for once he came up with a bright idea.

Do you think that Bush is reducing the troops at the right time or do you think he should have done it along time ago?

An article on CNN.com titled, "U.S. given 'more F's than A's' on terror preparation," explains that the U.S. is not doing very well in preventing another terrorist attack. 41 grades were given and as the title says, there were more F's given than there were A's. The most important F given was for homeland security while one A- was given "for the administration's efforts to curb terrorist financing." Do you think that the U.S. was graded unfairly? If so why? What do you think the U.S. needs to improve on?

I was watching CNN this morning and they said that the government got an "F" for homeland security from the September 11 commission. This is so bizarre to me because our government has spent so much time and money preparing us for terrorist attacks. Are they trying to tell me that after everything this country has went through we cannot even get a "D" on our homeland security grade.

Why do you think our country get an "F"?

It's obviuosly great that he's doing that now, but yes he definitely should have done done it earlier. He might have been just trying to be cautious, but I really don't think we should have even been in Iraq in the first place. It has really just caused more trouble.

it is most definately a great thing that Bush has finally opened his eyes. it is a shame that he didn't do it a long time ago. he could have saved many lives. but of course, he didn't think about that, did he?

I have to say, he is reducing the troops at the right time because if he did so a long time ago, we probably wouldn't have captured Saddam Hussein, and he would still be ruling the country with an iron fist.

Bush is not only reducing the troops, he is also sending them to Iran for the purposes of converting it to a Democratic country. Bush has to learn how to leave well enough alone. Iran has never done anything to us. Why should we do anything to them?
