EYES WATCHING YOU
The perception of a child is flawless
They can read you like a book
It makes no difference what you're saying
You say far more with a look
A look of love soft and tender
A look you give approvingly
Makes their tender hearts much fonder
And they respond so rapidly
If the word that you are saying
Don't match up with what you do
They will follow your example
They do the things they see you do
Every day you're painting pictures
That will last them all life through
With those little eyes a'watching
Folks be careful what you do
