WALLEYED GRANDPA
I loved my Grandpa
'tho spooky was he
That dear od man
could really see
He could see to the left
and see to the right,
at the same time,
'Twas a pitiful sight
There's a saying
when my mom was a kid
About those eyes
that just couldn't be hid
When he was driving
this was his code
Keep one eye on her
and the other on the road
He had his secrets
no one ever knew
Just where was he looking,
when you thought it was you?
I've thought about it
down through the years
He could have been looking
in his own big ears
