Farlax Sector
Polneye
|
Current Function:
Polneye has a small but growing population. Imperial technology is bringing the planet back to life, and the population is fiercely loyal to the NIF. It currently serves as the administrative center for the Koornacht cluster.
NIF-Developed History:
Polneye has suffered from orbital bombardment by the Yevethans, who then took the world for their own, enslaving what was left of the population. Polneye was also the first planet in the Koornacht cluster that was liberated from the Yevethan by the NIF. It was a fierce fight, and the first time we encountered the Yevethan thrustships and gravity bombs, but we overcame the difficulties.
Official Star Wars History:
Polneye
this was the second planet in the Koornacht Cluster overtaken by the Yevetha during the Great Purge. It was known for its wonderful garden cities until the Yevetha laid waste to the planet. During the Galactic Civil War, Polneye was the site of an Imperial transshipment port, for its high-altitude cloud cover was extremely thick. This hid the ground operations, which included a flight of TIE Interceptors. When the Empire crumbled, the troops there abandoned the planet, leaving it to the civilian population. The humans tightened their belts and eked out a surprisingly prosperous existence until the Yevetha arrived. The Polneyi were the only group to fight back against the Yevetha, but their resistance was quickly routed. The cities on Polneye were arranged around the central spaceport, and numbered sequentially around the four points of the compass (9 South, 14 East, etc.).

Doornik-319
|
Current Function:
Doornik-319 has a small population fiercely loyaly to the NIF. It is being slowly transformed by Imperial technology into a healthy, well governed world with an intergalactic free market. It has a strategic location in the Koornacht cluster.
NIF-Developed History:
Doornik-319 was razed, but then rebuilt by the Yevetha and used by them. The few remaining human slaves on the planet was liberated by the NIF who succeeded where the New Republic could not, and they became the new population.
Official Star Wars History:
Morning's Bell, a world in the Koornacht Cluster inhabited by Kubaz. It was known to the New Republic as Doornik-319. It was razed by the Yevetha during the Great Purge. Its significance to the Yevetha was not lost on the New Republic, which attempted to blockade the planet in an effort to halt the Yevethan progress across the Cluster. The Fifth Battle Group was rallied and sent to the planet, and the blockade began well enough. However, the Republic's ships were bombarded with pleas from prisoners of the Yevetha, begging the Republic not to fire on Yevethan ships because they were transporting prisoners. Most of the K-Wing bomber pilots on the front line hesitated, and the Yevethan attacked. They successfully repelled the Republic, staking their claim to the planet.

Zhina
|
Current Function:
Zhina is home to the small, recently established colony of Fairhaven. The planet is largely
unaffected by the war, leaving huge amounts of unused infrastructure behind. Currently this
idustrial base is mostly unusued, but droids keep it in working order for the growing
population. It is also the location of the Black-11 shipyards, which continues to produce
for the NIF navy.
NIF-Developed History:
The original population of Zhina was wiped out in the Yevethan Purge. After the planet was liberated by the NIF, it has been resettled. After a small but fierce space battle, the planet was wiped clean of Yevethans with a massive neutron bombardment, followed by a ground invasion mop-up operation. A month later, a larger Yevethan fleet came to recapture the planet.
Official Star Wars History:
This planet, located in the Koornacht Cluster, was the site of a Black Storm Command shipyard. It is one of the original twelve Duskhan League worlds.

Kutag serves as the main industrial center of NIF
actives in the Farlax sector. It manufactures
weapons, ship parts, ordinance, and fighters.
NIF-Developed History:
The NIF had already gained space superiority, paving
the way for the invasion. A massive grade five
neutron bombardment killed off most of the Yevethan on
the planet. Still, the remaining Yevethan were
fanatical in the defense of the planet, even using
suicide bombing. But the brave actions of NIF army
personal were able to defeat the Yevethan and save the
imperial slaves.
Official Star Wars History:
Kutag is located in the Koornacht Cluster, and was
the site of an Imperial factory farm during the last
years of the Galactic Civil War. When Nil Spar rallied
the Yevethan people to rise up against Imperial
control, they wiped out the farm's personnel and took
control of the facility.
