Mayagil Sector
Clak'dor VII
|
Current Function:
The core population of the planet, the Bith, are highly evolved and technologically advanced. Their research and development skills will be useful to the New Imperial Federation. Clak'dor VII's scarred and open surface facilitates simple and efficient surface mining techniques for raw materials.
The two Imperial Star Galleons buried underground on the planet are full of top-secret advanced technology. These ships have been called "Genesis Base" as they are named "Genesis I" and "Genesis II". This is an important foothold for the New Imperial Federation and should be well defended.
NIF-Developed History:
The Getwani organization worked with the Bith scientists on Clak'dor VII to develop a chemical to be used to revert the planet's atmosphere to a state that would support life. The Getwani went against their word and attempted to escape with the chemical to sell, essentially giving them the ability to sell the planet.
The Super Star Destroyer Nemesis arrived at Clak'dor VII while the Getwani organization was attempting to escape. NIF forces stopped the Getwani and seized the chemicals. When Getwani presence was terminated and their efforts to sabotage life support systems on Clak'dor VII were stopped, Grand Admiral Matt offered the chemical back to the Bith.
With the atmosphere of the planet reverting to its original state, the Bith government joined the New Imperial Federaiton and offered their services.
Official Star Wars History:
Located in the Mayagil sector, Clak'dor VII is a small planet orbiting the large white star Colu and is the homeworld of the peaceful, highly-evolved Bith. Clak'dor VII was once a lush garden world with incredibly advanced technologies, but is currently an ecological wasteland featuring bubbling pink swamps due to a conflict between two Bith cities, Nozho and Weogar. The two cities, generations ago, unleashed gene- altering biological weapons on each other, mutating the planet's surface and forcing all surviving Biths to live in hermetically sealed domed cities. Clak'dor VII, due to the disaster, is unable to produce either basic needs for its citizens or goods for export and thus many Biths sell their intellectual abilities for employment as technical consultants. One food product produced by Bith hydroponic tanks are the nutritious (but flavorless) cubes called "bepps."

Chalcedon
|
Current Function:
Chalcedon is a major commercial centre focused around slave trade. While Imperial customs officers have to regularly check the trade and probe droids and Stormtroopers patrol the planet to provide control and security, trade taxes provide NIF with an astonishing amount of credits. Currently prospectors investigate the planet's volcanic surface to determine if there are valuable minerals to be mined.
NIF-Developed History:
The crime lords and slavers on Chalcedon nearly succumbed to a collective heart attack when the Imperial armada appeared in orbit and immediately claimed an iron ring blockade around the planet. Several attempts to escape the blockade were made and stopped. The immense population on the planet proved difficult to control, but properly armed Stormtroopers with fire support soon claimed the two starports and colonies. Many civilians were injured during the riot, but surprisingly few were killed, probably thanks to the efficiency of the Imperial army.
Official Star Wars History:
A rocky, volcanic world with a semi-breathable atmosphere, Chalcedon is a key hub in the galactic slave trade. The planet features dry, violent storms, frequent earthquakes and no indigenous lifeforms, though two colonies and a way station have been established on its surface. Many buildings and other items in the cities are constructed from dark volcanic glass. Traders and peasants inhabit the bazaars, while the bureaucrats (boneless, trunked aliens) live in the cities and control the slave trade.

Oetrago
|
Current Function:
Oetrago is a completely unremarkable planet with a temperate climate and plenty of raw materials. Havoc industries have settled on this planet and developed it into a high-tech colony and a research facility for the most secret NIF projects. It is also the home to vast and growing shipyards in orbit.
NIF-Developed History:
A settlement of smugglers was the only resistance found on this planet. The outlaws put up a surprisingly strong resistance, but fell easily to Imperial supremacy during a Secondary Missions operation.
Official Star Wars History:
Han Solo spent some time on Oetrago, and was unimpressed with the appearance of its plant life. He was reminded of this while seeing the ugly, mutated flowers of Crseih Station.

Urdur
|
Current Function:
This cold, windy planet is the home of "Doc" Klaus Vandangante's band of outlaw techs. Outlaw technicians are people skilled in various technical procedures, but have become outlawed by not following local regulations. The outlaw techs have been "convinced" to work for NIF. Urdur is now a major refitting centre for Imperial starfighters.
NIF-Developed History:
The outlaw techs had an impressive defence force with refitted light freighters and heavily modified older starfighters as well as hired mercenaries with illegal weaponry and perimeter defences. Many starfighters were lost in the conflict although the majority of the pilots were saved. When Imperial armoured units threatened the Outlaw Tech's base, they took off. The entire base proved to be an old Kuat Drive Yards Super Transport at 15 km in length. It was stopped before it could leave the system, and "Doc" reluctantly accepted NIF supremacy since the outlaw techs were offered to work for NIF under our protection with prior transgressions forgiven.
Official Star Wars History:
The planet on which Doc and Jessa set up their outlaw tech base, Urdur is a chilly, temperate world. When the base is discovered by the Corporate Sector Authority, Jessa and Han Solo scatter the techs as they head for Mytus VII. After destroying Stars' End and recovering the prisoners, Han flies back to Urdur to release them. Doc and Jessa had planned to move their base, but the demise of the Corporate Sector Authority may have changed that.

Triton
|
Current Function:
A lifeless vaccum planet with nothing of interest and almost no system population. It is the home of an Imperial long-range listening station, where Intel intercepts and decodes messages from deep within the Galactic Core. Eventually it may be mined for minerals.
NIF-Developed History:
The rebel listening station about to set up in an NIF sector was a definite threat that had to be dealth with swiftly. The rebels were not expecting an attack and were soon taken out by Imperial agents while the navy blockaded the planet and prevented any distress calls by jamming the transmitters.
Official Star Wars History:
A dead, lifeless world with several lifeless moons, that Han Solo references when his Tauntaun dies on Hoth. "Dead as a Triton moon" is a saying all over the galaxy. Despite the general lack of life in the ssytem, a few of the Triton Moons were colonized by insectoid, religious acolytes during the early years of the New Order.

Cona
|
Current Function:
Cona is a system with many valuable minerals, now mined for the benefit of the NIF.
NIF-Developed History:
The Arcona Mineral Harvest Corporation decided to oppose NIF's bid for power, and armed their workers with mining equipment, fortifying themselves in the mines. Rebel agents had already arrived on the planet when we came to it, and they armed those natives who wished to fight. After a fierce ground assault, the NIF was victorious. Unfortunately, a tragic accident involving gas occurred in the mining tunnels which killed hundreds of civilans, including the defending miners, and the system was taken over.
Official Star Wars History:
Cona, the homeworld of the triangle-headed Arcona, is a hot, dense world with a lush, tropical environment, orbiting the blue giant Teke Ro. Due to Cona's lack of axial tilt and temperature-distributing air currents, the climate is effectively the same everywhere on the planet's surface. Cona's atmosphere contains a high concentration of ammonia, and water is often found only in the gastric pods of Cona's plant life. The Arcona, who obtain water by digging out plant pods with their burrowing claws, live in loose communities of family nests and are easily addicted to salt. Many galactic companies have established mining colonies on Cona, including Arcona Mineral Harvest Corporation.

Galidraan
|
Current Function:
The planet provides a variety of resources. From strategic resources to their industrial
centers to its agriculture, Galidraan is a largely self sufficient planet, though it does
provide the NIF with tax benefits.
NIF-Developed History:
A combined NIF naval force assaulted the Galidraan system, for the purpose of capturing the
Galidraan yards. The mission began with a fighter raid, with the expressed purpose of
neutralizing their moon base, however that part was soon put into jeopardy. A small fleet
of enemy ships arrived, for routine repairs, and provided substantial reinforcements to the
unfriendly forces present. Due to the timely arrival of friendly reinforcements, and
substantial skill displayed on behalf of NIF fighter pilots, that segment of the mission
was completed in a timely manner, and caused more damge to enemy forces than would have
been possible otherwise. The naval forces were then able to quickly assault and capture
enemy forces, demonstrating the importance of fighter supperiority. Once the orbit was
taken, it was simple to move on and take the planet through precision bombardments and
troop landing.
Official Star Wars History:
It was on this planet that the Jedi Knights defeated the Mandalorian Shocktroopers, two
years before the Battle of Naboo. The Mandalorians had been called to Galidraan by the
planetary governor, ostensibly to defeat an insurrection force that threatened his rule.
Jango Fett later discovered that the governor had been paid by Vizsla to help lay another
trap for the Mandalorians. In the hopes of ensuring the defeat of the Mandalorians, Vizsla
had ordered the governor to call for the help of the Jedi Knights, claiming that the
Mandalorians were actually slaughtering the populace because of their political beliefs.
While this was in essence true, since the governor had hired them to eliminate the rebels,
there was enough embellishment to bring a Jedi task force to Galidraan. The Jedi eliminated
the Mandalorians in the Battle of Galidraan, and Jango Fett was turned over to the planetary
governor as a slave.
