A Child Of God
Dear Father
You have always been there for me
especially in my loneliness time
and I thank You from the bottom of my heart
because Your love is truly divine.
I will meditate
on the Word when I am losing my way
and when I read the written Word
these are the words that I pray.
Every knee shall bow
and every voice will praise Your name
because You are the King of all kings
and Your love is here to ease the pain.
I testify with my mouth
so that I can be heard
and I listen with my ears
when someone is teaching the Word.
When the praises go up
blessings are sure to come down
as I lift my hands unto Thee
and listen to the joyous sounds.
I will rejoice
and sing songs of joy
when Your name is mentioned in a room
as a smile comes over my face
because of the love that You consume.
By the blood of the Lamb
we are renewed a Spirit of life and love
sent from Jesus Christ on high
that watches us from up above.
