A Silent Prayer
I closed my eyes
and kneeled down to pray
because on this night I gave my life
so please listen to the words that I say.
Father in heaven
I humble myself before Thee
giving You all the praise
because You set my heart free.
I call on You Lord
because I want to follow You
and to become a child of God
because Your love is so true.
Please forgive me Lord
and strengthen my faith forever
as I arise and give You thanks
when I say my silent prayer.
