Dear Lord
Dear Lord
can You hear my cry
if the words are not there
as I close my eyes and bow my head
just to say a silent prayer.
I know and understand
that You sacrificed Your life
so that we all could live
I just pray that our hearts are sincere enough
for You to forgive.
Ten commandents were inscribed on stone
and as I reminisce on a few of them
I tend to shed a slient tear
when I am all alone.
We ask for forgiveness
for all of the sins that we have done
and even though we have a long way of becoming a saint
I pray that we will someday live in Your kingdom.
Dear Lord
Your love is admired by us all
so when judgement day finally comes
I will be waiting for Your precious call.
