I Asked God
I asked God
how does heaven look
and He replied by saying
read and understand My holy book.
I asked God
to strengthen my faith
so that I may believe
and He replied by saying
just open up your heart
so that you may receive.
I asked God
to continue to bless us all
and He replied by saying
I will never forsake you or let you fall.
I asked God
to come into my heart
and to renew my Spirit with love
and He replied by saying
repent your sins and focus on heaven up above.
