In A Manger
In a manger
is where Jesus was laid
innocent and pure
He came so all would be saved.
In a manger
because the inn had no room
but a star was shining brightly
and to all His love was consumed.
In a manger
is what the magi saw in a dream
and brought gold, incense, and myrrh
to the new born King.
In a manger
where the Son of God was named
Jesus the holy One
who takes away the pain.
