Yung Soulja himself is a marvel when it comes to making beats. Although his influences are mainly Southern in nature, he has no problem in making any type or style of beat. Which he does often to cope with the different styles of the artists that he works with. Though he has a Southern type style like that of Anubis. The way he delivers it and the contents of his songs are completely different. Anubis is mostly a comical rapper with just a gangsta twist to it. Yung Soulja however, is just straight gangsta when it comes to spitting. You may hear him talk about guns a lot in some of his songs because, that is what he knows most about. But that is not all of what he speaks upon. He can also make an array of lyrics totally different from what you may here him say in hardcore solo or group song. Also known as the Triggaman for his love for guns, Yung Soulja’s influences are different from that of his other associates working with him.
B.G., Max Minelli, and Soulja Slim are just a few of his favorite influences. Which are considered to be just straight gangsta rappers in nature. Which is why his Southern style is different from that of his rap partner. So whether he is on the beat or on tha lyrics Yung Soulja is a talented individual. If you’re the shoot up bang bang type person you’ll enjoy Soulja’s albums for real.

Anthony "Ace Cal" Williams (Rapper)

From: Flint, MI
Influences: Nas, Scarface, Three 6 Mafia, 50 Cent

So for those who are a fan of the East Coast rap style. You’ll have no disappointment when you here this artist. Like his other rap partners he puts it down song for song in the only way he knows how, Gangsta. He also raps on life experiences but throws his own twist on things very nicely. He is one of the four components that make up the diversity in the group. The types of songs he writes sometimes may not be intended to be a club song. But when it is unleashed its something any club would want to bang on the speakers all night. His delivery is different from some East Coast rappers but you can still tell the similarities, and the base on which he operates. Like the others he is also a diverse rapper, but chooses to do mostly gangsta hits because that’s the way he is and that’s what he likes.

Darius "D-Boy" Harris (Rapper)

Age: 17
From: Flint, MI
Influences: Ludacris, Three 6 Mafia

D-Boy’s style is one not commonly used by any rapper. He uses the creativeness of Ludacris, and the hype type gangsta style of 3-6 Mafia when writing a song. Those being his main influences he uses them and his own creative abilities to form a rap style all his own. At first he didn’t know how to form a song by writing. Mainly be because he was just a person who free styled. He hadn’t had the practice of writing to a beat. Later on, he figured out how to use his imagination and thoughts in forming a good song. Being the person he is, his songs reflect what he goes through in everyday life. Whatever type of mood he is in is the type of song he writes. It just depends on the state of mind his in at the time. Or what type of song is needed for an album.
D-Boy tends to stick to the subject of the title of the song. Most rappers in the industry may talk about a certain subject in a song. Then switch up & start rapping about what they have. The subjects he raps on depends on what situation he has been in. He can take an everyday situation and make an entire song off just that. Without getting to much of the subject and make it sound good. The style he has is a Southern mix of comical and gangsta properties. So it was dubbed punch line rap for the way he may have you laughing at first. Then it switches and you be like this guy is serious. So if you like to get hype, joke around, but still show you about your business, then prepare to wild out with this artist.

Lamar "Krimminall" Johnson (Rapper)

Age: 16
From: Flint, MI
Influences: Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent

Known for his West Coast style of doing things, Krimminall is sure to set songs on fire when he spits. You get a dark feeling from listening to some of his songs, that lets you know he is serious. At the same time, some of his lyrics have a deeper meaning, and lets you know the truth as well as a little bit of his feelings on certain subjects. His darkness in lyrics is what sets him apart from his label mates, as well as other rappers in the major industry. You can get a sense of his inner thoughts and pretty much relate to what he is thinking when you listen to his songs. Which is what makes him a good lyricist. His delivery on songs is strong and somewhat quite in a sense.
His quietness is what makes him dangerous on the mike because you wouldn’t know what to expect if you were beefing with him. His verses on group songs are just the beginning of what you’ll get on his solo albums. He is known for being the more serious type but can be comical if needed be. So West Coast rap fans are looking because you sure to like what is coming from this artist.
