The Crysler Family Table of Contents :
All articles are written and researched by Margaret Odrowaz-Sypniewska, B.F.A..

The Kreussler family came from Guntersblum, Germany. Kreussler is the original spelling of their name. However, in the United States, the name evolved into many different spellings. My branch of the family still uses the Crysler spelling. They came form Guntersblum to New York's Mohawk valley, then moved West until they ended up in Michigan. The addition of the "h" in Chrysler signifies their loyalist followings of the British Crown. They are the Canadian branch of the same family. Although you will find both spellings on both sides of the border.
