Lady Jane Grey:
Lady Jane Grey was queen for nine days from July 10, 1553-July 19, 1553. Lady Jane Grey was born on October 1537 at Bradgate Manor, Leicestershire, England. She was executed on February 12, 1554 (at age 16), and was buried in the Tower of London. Jane was married on May 21, 1553, at Durham House, London; to Guilford Dudley (1536-1554), the son of John Dudley, duke of Northumberland. Jane was the grand-daughter of Mary Tudor, sister of Henry VIII. Henry listed her as heir, only after the death of his own children and their heirs. Jane was crowned on July 9, 1553 and deposed on July 19, 1553. Northumberland's army was defeated, he was defeated, arrested, and beheaded.
Jane's father, Henry Grey, duke of Suffolk, was involved in Sir Thomas Wyatt's rebellion against Mary Tudor, later Mary I. Jane was asked to recant her Protestanism, and when she refused, she was executed.

Henry Grey, 1st Duke of Suffolk (1517-1554) married (2) Frances Brandon (1517-1559), daughter of Charles Brandon and Mary Tudor (Henry VIII's sister), in 1533. Frances Brandon's life was spared, when he husband was executed in 1554, and she married Adrian Stokes, Master of the Horse on March 9, 1554. They had 2 stillborn children and a daughter that died as an infant. Mary's daughter by Henry Grey was Lady Jane Grey.

Lady Jane Grey (1537-1554) was the same age as Henry VIII's third wife, Jane Seymour. She was married to Guilford Dudley on May 21, 1553. Guilford Dudley was the son of John Dudley, Earl of Warwick and Duke of Northumberland. His father was executed in 1553. Lady Jane and Guiford were both executed in 1554. Jane's father, Henry Grey, Jane's father was likewise executed in 1554.
