The Potocki Family Fact Sheet

The Potocki Men:
• Voivods - the Potocki family had thirty-three (33)

• Senators (1607-1795) - they had thirty-five (35).
• The Silver Branch's motto is "scutum opponebat saitus" meaning "opposing shield against shields."

• They had two Governors of Galitzia in 1875 and 1903.

• They were Ambassadors to Poland in 1791, 1933, and 1944.

• Twenty-five (25) members of their family were members of the Order of the Knights of the White Eagle.

• Fourteen (14) members were honored with the Order of Virtuti Militari.
