Saint Sampson of Dol

St Samson of Dol was the cousin of St. Armel. He was a dragon-slaying Breton Bishop in 565. He was dedicated to God (by his parents), at age five. He was ordained at age 15. He then dedicated his brothers to the same cause (of God). He was a wandering Welsh monk. He was bishop of Dol, which was located in Brittany.

His feast day is July 28th.
