Fabulous Floribundas---that’s right up our guest speaker’s alley, Jerry Carney, he has some of the best. Come find out what makes a rose a floribunda, where they originated from and how they came to be so fabulous. Jerry is a member of Roses West and Detroit Rose Societies. He is a Consulting Rosarian & a Judge---Also a great exhibitor and competitor to have at rose show trophy and award tables. Jerry has also been a featured guest speaker at many Roses Societies.
A Few Words from Priscilla:
Sorry I was unable to attend your presentation Nancy but I know it was great. Thank You for giving
your talk on Old Garden Roses. Thanks too Mary Jane who took over for me---I know all who attended had a great informative evening. In the last newsletter I neglected to put Mary Jane Dulyn in as our V.P., sorry Mary Jane, you are now on the list---watch out. Also brought to my attention that I had the wrong date for our October meeting, it has been changed from the 4th to the 6th which is the correct date, thanks Phyllis. Please find a copy of the registration form for the Spring Convention to be held in Bad Axe. It would be nice to have a few members from Roses West attend. Really a great way to meet other Rose people from Michigan and Ohio. One more Thank You and this one is very important---to our Web Master NORRIS HARDEMAN. Have you checked out our Web site? It looks great! Job well done Norris thanks so very much.
